  • Dull Colors

    The colors for the web version for available shifts are dull. At least make the borders for those shifts brighter color.
  • Hard to get shift

    Staffmate is a bad system for those who do not know how to use bot’s and there is no secuirty set up to make sure everyone has opportunity to get a shift .
  • Cheaters

    This app allows employees to use bots and steal shifts 🤯 No one from the hotels or the app wants to do anything about it

    We have updated your settings so the full events now show the way you want them to. We are glad we were able to help. Please take a moment to check other settings like changing your calendar view using the gear icon. It might be a game-changer for you.
  • Notifications shut down when needed most

    Audio and vibration notifications turned off the developer until after 10am. This is a problem because my schedule is released at around 9am every Sunday. There is no way to adjust the push notifications at all to fix this. I am on call and need to be alerted once the schedule starts releasing.

    Hi Bryan. It’s important to know that your employer has an account with us and, for the time that you are employed with them, they provide you with a profile on their account so you can pick up jobs. This means that they control just about every aspect of how StaffMate works for their workers and in the hotel industry, HR departments are adamant that settings remain consistent for all workers. This eliminates our ability to make adjustments that might unfairly benefit one worker over another. In other words, your hotel employer could easily release shifts after 10AM on Sunday or request that we change their notification “quiet time” for all of their workers. If you have already approached them with your concern and they have chosen not to enact either of these options, there is nothing we can do to override their decision. If you have not yet approached them, we suggest that you always discuss with your employer your concerns on how they implement StaffMate for their workers as they have final say on how they choose to implement their account.   • Why is the “new” app always broken?

    I had no issues with the last app, but since we want to “fix” things now I can’t switch between different agencies within the app

    Thank you for the app support question. Your employers should be able to tell you how to set up your account so that you can toggle between multiple companies. However, if they cannot help you, email us at appsupport@staffmate.com so we can send you the simple instructions on how to effortlessly toggle between employers!
  • Staffmate the best app for the hospitality industry

    As a worker, I have been using Staffmate for 7 years by 2 companies I currently work for. Staffmate is easy to use and a straight forward app. It is easy to accept or deny a gig when requested, it is easy to access your profile, if you forget your password it takes seconds to get back in to your account. I have never been locked out of Staffmate. I have never had any problems or issues with them. I also like the upgrades they recently made, like “ready pool”if an employer needs a lot of servers and they want to see if there is staff available and wanting to work on a particular date, the servers just click “interested” or a thumbs up 👍 emoji. And then the employers have a “pool” of workers ready and waiting to work. I think it’s compatible for workers and employers. So many apps the employer can’t see what the worker sees, and that is a problem. Staffmate is NOT like that, the employer sees what I see, and we can communicate if there is a question about something, like an address or the time.
    Super straightforward.
    If I had a catering company or a hospitality staffing company I would use Staffmate.
    Totally reliable.

  • Add multiple Employers

    I can’t view more than 1 employer at the same time. I wish I can just go from one job schedule to another employer schedule with out log out.

    The support team is very helpful, at the beginning I had a few issues, they work with me to fix them, I recommend before you give a bad review just contact them, they are really working to made this App the best. Thank you!

  • can't log in

    getting a new link to the email doesn't work. no customer support. guess i'm just not gonna work??

    EDIT: resolution suggests my employer can reset the password, but that is neither the issue, not something they seem capable of doing.

    Thank you for your feedback. Your employer is the one that controls the reset of your password. Reach out to them and if you still need assistance, reach out to appsupport@staffmate.com and we will ensure they resolve your issue for you. EDIT: We offered that if your employer would not update your password to contact us at appsupport@staffmate.com so we could make sure they did. Without knowing who you are, we can't offer any more help than that. So, please contact us at appsupport@staffmate.com so we can direct your employer how to resolve your issue. Otherwise, there is nothing we can do because we we have no way through an app review to know who you are.
  • Clunky

    Do not like the new app. Too many time consuming steps involved to get a shift. Confusing. Shifts should all be located on the calendar instead of having to go to each day, click, and scroll down.

    Thank you for your feedback. If you click the Cog Wheel on the Shifts Tab, you'll likely find a new calendar view you like. We have 5 different views because we know that workers like choices in the way they interact with their app. If none makes you happy, contact us at appsupport@staffmate.com to let us know what our 6th view should look like!
