One very specific part from a feeble generic clone D-List game template
There’s really just one particular aspect, not an actual game. Seems like an assignment for game/app design course; or maybe a practical skills demonstration. The task: Create yet another “original” version of the operating mechanics for basic offensive gameplay used by countless interchangeable low grade 3PS ocean warship action sim app games. Render this as a functional app with rudimentary level progression, essential graphics, and all necessary UI implementation. All of this achieved quite well, and augmented by surprisingly decent graphics. However, it’s still far from a finished game, and not even close to the absurdly aspirational description.
One star for claiming to be a game when it’s only a homework assignment, &/or portfolio piece; no matter how well it achieves its actual purpose, i.e., being part of a game.
On the plus side, it never pushes buying in app purchases; no mechanism for payment of any sort is even included. Likewise no advertising, not even optional or banner. Completely non-monetized, which is refreshingly appropriate for this non-game. On the other hand, the developer is foolish to not provide any way whatsoever for players to spend. There are always idiots with money who will spend on even the most ridiculous content. I applaud your integrity, if that’s the case, but if it’s merely laziness or insecurity, you’re cheating yourself out of income. The dopes will waste their money somewhere else if not here.
That’s probably why I’m the only review or rating, huh? Well 2 stars is generous, I believe.
