  • So much 16-bit fun!

Another reviewer said it so well: You can start with the over 400 presets, or you can take your sounds to the next level in programming your own sounds! The sounds included are so retro, as found in 1980s video games, but in 2024, one can make these sounds into stereo pans, plus reverb, delay… the possibilities are seemingly endless! So what are you waiting for? Download immediately! And know that you will pay all of ONE time only, with no subscription renewals! EXCELLENT VALUE! Thank you once again, AudioKit!

  • I JUST LOVE THIS ONE

Is just so fun and brings me a lot memories
  • Wow this is phenomenal

One of the best apps I’ve ever purchased hands down! I appreciate you guys not being a subscription based service. I’m so sick of everything being a subscription model these days. Unbelievable how much you get with this app
  • no poly function

love the sounds on this app but unfortunately there’s no where that allows for pinky functioning so you can only play one note at a time.
  • Dreams come true

My kid wanted to be able to play the music from a classic videogame and I set him up with this synth and he loves it. There is so much work put into this. Thank you AudioKit
  • The timing of the sequencer

The timing in the sequencer for the AUv3 doesn’t keep the correct time. It’s often out of sync.

Good app otherwise. Would use it a lot more if this were fixed.
  • What a deal! And what fun.

I reloaded both VHS Synth and SAGA Synth apps, the SAGA Synth had a cool update and a filter update and I accidentally saw that SNES Synth is on sale with a free preset expansion. WoW! Am I happy! SNES is 16-step sequencing in the background. :-) I hope they add the same filter update here too. While these sounds bring back memories, you get to create new ones at the same time, mixing past and present, making new futures.

  • Very good once bugs are worked out

It sounds great and it’s fun to use! The only challenge I’ve seen is that it keeps crashing in AUM when I’m sequencing midi to it and trying to record. Hopefully this can be addressed soon!
  • Lots of bugs in AUV3 beatmaker3 or NanoStudio 2

Strange buzzing sounds in AUV3 and rhythmic presets are off beat randomly. Getting refund while I still can

    Developer Response

Thank you, If some presets sound "off beat" please check the Sequencer "Rate" knob to see if it set to a whole or dotted note. For example, if you're looking for exactly on the beat you'll want "1/8" instead of "1/8 T". Hope that helps! If you do not like it, certainly you should ask for a refund!
  • They Cannot Miss

    another perfect one.
