I love the game and the digital implementation is fantastic. However they clearly just ported the online version over to mobile and there are some clunky features that aren’t present in more polished mobile-first titles. I imagine they’ll only improve from here though.
This game is so special. Every faction plays so differently from the others making for surprisingly different game play. The app works very well. Playing other players is the best way to enjoy the game but the AI will at least give you a taste of how the factions work. I highly recommend.

The balance amongst the factions means the winner is determined by tactical superiority. Gameplay is smooth and art is colorful and aesthetically pleasing. Looking forward to more single player stories. Fantasy fans don’t want to miss this one!!
This is a fun game that can be played online 2 player 1v1, or single player. All of the factions feel very different, yet they are all interesting and balanced! Highly recommend.

Online play has always been integral to the Summoner Wars experience, and a tight and inclusive international Discord community has formed around it. Until recently, online play was done through the mobile-friendly Plaid Hat Games website. Now for the first time, all that gameplay goodness is available as a smartphone app. Go on, give it a try, and join the community! You won't be disappointed.
Incredible, tactical gameplay - my favorite 2 player card battler ever. The app is such a fun way to play. Each turn is agonizing … in a good way! You’re in it until the bitter end.
I think this is about the third iteration of this game (physical game included) and plaidhat hit it out of the park this time. Streamlined rules, fairly fast ai turn time, and a great value in subscription mode for $2.99 monthly or you can buy individual decks for $3.99 each. I am having a blast playing this nonstop. Joining a private game is…unintuitive. You actually get transferred to the sw website, have to log in, then copy web address into ios app. It’s really clunky and I sincerely hope this will improve. Love the tabletop version, and now I can play it anywhere! The solo scenarios are a lot of fun too, and flesh out the fictional world of the game too. Enjoying what’s here, and excited for more to come!
This is my favorite board game, and now it’s on the app store! This is the second edition of the board game which improves on the first edition in many ways. It’s a mix between a card game and tactical game, if you enjoy games like chess or fire emblem you should check it out!
This is a faithful adaptation of the best two-player tactical card game on the market. It also adds some great single player options.
