Cool as a demo, but not a great way to experience the game
It’s awesome that we’re at the point where we can play modern console games on our phones. Wasn’t that long ago that I could only dream of this being a reality. But, playing it now, is this really a viable way to play this game? Maybe it’s cause I’m playing on a basic iPhone 16, but the game looks like an upscaled mess, with bad pop-in and constant frame tearing. Not to mention the default touch controls being awful. It’s not unplayable, but it’s sure ain’t that enjoyable.
(Also, I’d like to add that the new update requiring online DRM is appalling for a mobile platform, especially on one as restrictive as iOS)
If you can look past the flawed presentation, you can get some enjoyment out of it. Please, just don’t go out and buy a new iPhone just to play this. Get something like a Steam Deck or ROG Ally to play this on.

Online required to play after the fact
Purchased this game so I can play on my flights during work - now after the fact capcom has made a mandatory internet check upon launch. Will not purchase another capon iOS product after this.
Can’t play offline with latest update
This is rubbish. I was so excited to play during a 9 hour flight I had recently and as soon as I fired it up, no go. I need an internet connection. So all that money and all that excitement and I couldn’t play because Capcom decided to spy on us and not let us just play the game we bought. If you care about this, do not buy any of the Resident Evil games. They all require you Internet to play.

Not working from external drive
I’m on macOS 15.1 and have the App Store set to install items larger than 1gb to an external drive. RE 4 just gets stuck on the Refreshing Purchase History step and won’t launch into the game. Very frustrating. Works great on my iPhone 16 though, so at least can play it there until they sort out the issues with macOS external drives…

This WAS great until the new update….
With the new update requiring wifi to launch the app, I can no longer use this for my intended purpose, to use while travelling. If I could request a refund, I would.
Requires internet connect
I was just about to download this game till I saw the latest update. BIG NO NO
Talk to us, CAPCOM. The update seems shady.
The problem isn’t simply that an available update requires an internet connection. The problem is a combination of things: 1) new buyers won’t be able to access the previous version that didn’t require an internet connection, and previous buyers may have updates set to automatic update, and they might have trouble reverting to the previous version, 2) there’s been no clear communication from CAPCOM about the reason for the change (they don’t want us to know the details?) 3) is the requirement really just than an internet connection is required? Without any assurances from CAPCOM to the contrary, it seems possible that the requirement is an internet connection + some type of server response from CAPCOM — that would be very bad, because that would mean that there’s no guarantee that the game will work for any amount of time, because there’s no commitment from CAPCOM about maintaining any sort of server. A simple statement explaining the situation would be helpful, like “For some reason we don’t want to explain, we’re providing an update that requires both an internet connection + a connection to one of our servers, BUT DON’T WORRY BECAUSE this update is not required, and before we take down our server, we promise that we’ll will provide an additional update that will remove the need to connect to the internet, so you can continue play your game forever.”

PC gaming on mobile devices
The game is great, action horror, great performance, highly recommend a controller. Its resident evil 4. Its scary, its action packed, its got a great story, and its fun.
Doesn't work without iCloud Drive
I purchased the game on my iPhone, and tried to start it on my Mac M1 Max. Unfortunately, this is my company laptop, and they have some strange policy that disables iCloud Drive. The game is showing the following error message:
"iCloud Drive is not currently available.
Please check on iCloud Drive settings, ensure it is enabled, then restart the application."
Could you please fix this and allow to play without iCloud Drive with local saves? I don't need iCloud backups
