Lone! But missing one big feature...
I installed thinking... Eh, another AppStore "wishlist" I'll end up deleting because I can do the same 'copy/paste to list' without adding additional apps to my already annoying cluttered homepages and lists of apps to check out.
I was extremely pleasantly surprised when I installed this app and added a few apps from the AppStore. Just to see if it worked as advertised. It did! And I'm excited that it did. However, now I have apps in my wishlist that I have no use for, and with no delete/remove option I'm stuck with apps I really have no use for. Add a way to remove accidental or 'changed my mind' apps. And it'll be perfect! ~ note ~ I looked everywhere within the app. I deleted app from all devices then restarted each device before reinstalling the app. And everything I had saved to the app, returned. Previous review started they wish when they removed the app and reinstalled it, they had lost all previously saved links. This was not the case when I removed the app. I actually removed it hoping that I worked experience what the previous posting stated. And I did not. I was glad because it says to me that y'all care about what your users say, and work to fix reported issues.Could be better
Hello, I like the idea of this app and like the UI though I’d like to see some changes.
- it would be nice to allow the user to sync the apps that they collect with iCloud. If the app is deleted or one gets a new device, they’re gone.
- It would also be better to have the app accept more mimetype/sharing types, so that way one could click the share button on an app on the Home Screen and add it to the list as well. For instance if one wanted to add an app because of in-app purchases.
- A lot of times the link I add to the app from within the AppStore doesn’t even show up. I don’t know what else to do but try it again. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t.
Also, since I mentioned in-app purchases, it would be cool to have those integrated as well.
ThanksAn incredibly useful tool at a bargain price
I've been using iOS for over 15 years, and have been wishing an app like this existed for most of them.
I've found that the lack of a wishlist feature in the App Store has become more and more frustrating to live with over time, and am over the moon to have finally found a solution to this issue.
The only significant issue I have ran into so far is that if you don't have this app open while adding apps to the wishlist, wishlisting apps will appear to succeed, but when you next open this app you'll see that none of the apps that you wishlisted while the app was closed actually got added to the wishlist.
The solution to this is quite simple (but unfortunately not documented anywhere) — you just need to make sure this app is already open in the background whenever you're adding apps to the wishlist. Basically whenever you want to add additional apps to the wishlist, open this app first and leave it open in the background until you're done with wishlisting new apps.
While it's mildly annoying to have to remember to keep this app open in the background whenever I'm adding apps to my wishlist, I don't consider this to be a deal breaking issue at all.
I hope the developer will continue to work on further improving this app. The ability to organize wishlisted apps into lists/folders would be a particularly useful feature to have – hopefully that'll get added at some point. Being able to export all of my wishlisted apps as JSON is another obvious feature that I'd really like to see added to the app.
