Reviews of Gloomy Tales

  • Almost unplayable

The content would have been acceptable, but the HO scenes are a mess. The items are too small to see and even when using a hint they are impossible to detect. I appreciate a challenge, but this makes the games unacceptable.

  • Gloomy Tales, Episode 2: Meeting The Faceless by LynxMinx

Once again, it’s all about souls. Why can’t we be treated to a different storyline for a change? Enough already. I give you all fair warning. The lack of touchscreen sensitivity on the gameplay interface was absolutely appalling! It was so bad that a couple of the HO scenes had to be played using only the match-3 alternative. My hand actually hurt from tapping so hard to acquire inventory items as well. I was especially annoyed because the HO scenes would have been interesting to play, but they didn’t work properly. You’ll see. The game was very brief and had little in the way of innovation or creativity in the inventory department. It was a huge disappointment. This would have been a decent game if not for the lack of good quality assurance. When will Domini learn? If the touchscreen sensitivity was enhanced, I would have rated this game at least 3.5 stars. Don’t waste your money.
