Challenging, but thoroughly enjoyable

Lovely rich graphics and well thought out gameplay that makes other similar games feel quite crude in comparison. There were some challenging puzzles, but all were solvable with some thought and care. There were also a couple of times when I was stumped with what to do next, but it often boiled down to an object I’d failed to pick up at some point previously. My only mild annoyance was the time at the bakery, I was supposed to fill a jar with sugar syrup, but there was no hint when clicking on the container on the shelf that I needed to present the jar to it. Overall, the game is excellent. I would love to see another game like this.

Having said all that, the bonus game is not very good. It is a lot of repetition and no story.

Response from developer

Thank you fro your feedback! Please, share some detail on this matter with us at support@five-bn.com. Have a good day!

Too repetitive

I love five-bn and have played pretty much every one of their games at least twice however this game is a huge miss for me. It relies way too much on playing the same puzzles on repeat, especially for how long the game is. It really ruins the gameplay. There’s also in game hints that can’t be turned off which takes away from the challenge. I really hope this isn’t a reflection of their future games because I love how challenging and creative their other games and storyline’s are, especially the Lost Lands series.

A bit repetitive but good all the same

Loved it but found it a bit frustrating with the multiple trips to the same areas to play the same mini games over and over again otherwise you couldn’t continue.

Not my favourite

I love five BN games but I’m finding this one frustrating. Maybe I should have had the tutorial but I always skip since I know your games so well. The format of this one is different and to honest I’m finding the endless trips to the pantry or basement to find hidden objects repetitive and tedious. Don’t think I’ll bother finishing the game. Shame because the graphics are good but progress into different areas is too slow.

Different from previous games

I’ve liked most of this developer’s games, but I really don’t like the different style of this game. Searching the same hidden object scenes multiple times is boring, and the timed element of the HOPs and puzzles is just stressful. I don’t play mobile games to stress out. The collection thing is confusing and with the timed puzzles putting me off, I don’t care enough to try and figure it out. Also, a lot of the things you have to tap on have such a small area you have to hit, that it’s EXTREMELY easy to miss. Which leads you to think it’s not what you’re looking for when you tap it and nothing happens. Then you waste a hint for the game to tell you that that thing you were trying to tap was what you were looking for all along.

Good could be MUCH better though

Whilst without a doubt this is a brilliant game in many ways and I truly have enjoyed playing what I have of it, the lack of available hints and now way of getting more unless real money is used make any further progress impossible. The hidden object games are way too difficult, some objects being pretty much impossible to find. I feel the game is somewhat over complicated making collecting required objects next to impossible most of the time. Which is such a shame as this game is beautiful but pretty much unplayable unless once again real money is used to progress, making it yet another game those of us with little money or who choose not to use real money to play games inaccessible. Which is grossly unfair, surely we have as much right to play games as those with money?

Very repetitive

I love the Five-BN games and have played all of them multiple times. This is a slightly different style and to me, it doesn’t compare to the others. The puzzles are really repetitive and whilst the story is good and the graphics amazing, the repetitiveness took away from this sadly. Biggest tip- use the map and follow the green dots for guidance!

Disappointing

Started well, I’ve enjoyed all the other games but as reviews said this was different I played through the tutorial. Seemed straightforward, but the continual going back into the pantry to look for items was repetitive and tedious. 2 stars for the lovely scenery. Unfortunately I’ve deleted.

Pixel hunt

Not fun just frustrating. To hell with this game.

Great! But prefer the old style.

I don’t mind change and games evolving as the developers grow. But this game gets a little bit confusing on the steps you need to take to find items needed to progress in the game. All of the games by this developer are wonderful and I LOVE all they do. So I was hesitant to give 4 stars instead of 5, but if I’m being honest it’s just a little confusing with the different elements to the game that have been added. As always though, I love and appreciate their games.
