Most of the deals on here are places I like to go but pass on due to being a college student trying to save money. This app has been awesome for deals on food! I use the sushi one frequently due to my boyfriend and I loving the restaurant and the deal we can get!

Used to this app several times at Lava Hot Springs and several restaurants in Pocatello. It’s about the easiest way to save money at local spots.

I have seven kids and taking them out for fun activities is normally very expensive, this app has been a huge blessing for our family! We found an entertainment spot that offers 50% off on a bounce house in the app, we love taking our kids there. Also, super helpful when eating out!
Went to a restaurant with an offered discount in the app, but the establishment said it’s done through the app or needs a proper discount code? Tried going through the app, but no proper discount code is given and the app clearly only gives you a code. Shouldn’t have fallen for this and gotten my hopes up for free discounts.
Tried the scan receipt function in the app and it seems like any other reward app that scans receipts. I’m not sure if this discount code is only given after scanning a certain amount of receipts, but the advertised function of this app is very misleading and should advertise itself as a reward app that needs a certain amount of receipts to be scanned before offering you a discount code rather than JUST a discount code app.

Hey there! So it sounds like an employee you dealt with may not have been properly trained on PerksPass. 99% of the time there is a PerksPass discount button in the register (unless the instructions in the app say otherwise), so the employee just has to tap that (rather than entering a code).
The primary benefit of the app is that you just show it to the employee and they will automatically apply the discount through the button in their register (it sounds like the employee was uninformed for some reason when you visited). The scan receipt is just record keeping for us to make sure the discount is being applied correctly (so we can verify the employees are entering it correctly at the venues) as a thank you we give users a gift card after they have scanned different thresholds of receipts...the receipt scan has nothing to do with receiving a discount at the vendor :)
In the app there are several places for you to submit feedback about a vendor (both on the vendor listing and on the "me page", if you can provide us details about which vendor you had the bad experience at we can contact the owner to rectify the situation and make sure the employee is properly trained. Please shoot us a message there and we can make sure the issue is fixed at that location.
So sorry you had a negative experience using the app and we are getting better and better at making sure these issues don't happen (we just launched a required training for all of our new vendors employees) as we know it is frustrating to try a discount and have an uninformed employee not honor it. (I can assure you your experience is not the norm)

Who doesn't love saving money! We recently used the app for dinner. Since we were able to save money we decided to use the app right after for dessert. The app is full of many great options. I love the simplicity of showing them the app and getting the discount! Simple as that.
