  • Treat paywall

I have some thoughts on this app. daisy has a stupid paywall. Essentially, they have this thing where you couldn’t complete the self care tasks unless your dog has energy—which requires treats or you to wait an extended period (like an hour)—but then if you feed it treats and do your tasks, there’s another wall of treats that blocks your dog leveling up so then trying to do any other self care tasks don’t actually contribute to your dog leveling up because it’s entirely based around said treat scale. It also takes about 20 treats to level said dog up, but when you do each task, it requires another treat so getting the ones necessary to level up your dog but still get credit for the tasks that you’re doing becomes near impossible. On top of this, if you give the dog treats that you earn, it takes 10 to fill up the scale for one treat. It’s too bad, because overall the app has a lot of promise and I was really enjoying my self-care tasks with my little friend, but oh well.
