Steaming services tab doesn’t work

I do like this app. With so many steaming services now it’s difficult keeping up with what program is where and this replaces my list on notes. However the tab in watchlist supposedly showing which program is with which steaming service doesn’t work. Some programs are listed but not all. Obviously a bug.

Hi, I am so sorry you are experiencing these problems. If you can try deleting the app and then reinstalling it, this may fix the problem. If the problem still persists, please contact us by emailing rtapp@buysubscriptions.com, and we will try to help you.

Rubbish

Came here for a TV guide. You know, one which tells you what is on tv, what time programs are on and on which channel. So I deleted because this app does absolutely none of those things!

Response from developer

Chombre, the new Radio Times App is designed as a daily partner to the weekly magazine allowing users to compile personal watchlists whilst taking in our expert editorial guidance. You can, of course, subscribe to our magazine via the website Buysubscriptions.com. Many thanks The Radio Times Team

Radio recommendations?

I can see the point of this for tv, films etc, but the coverage of radio seems extremely sketchy. Where are the recommendations for best radio programmes? An annoying omission for something that calls itself the RADIO Times…

Response from developer

GeoffHutt, thank you for your rating and feedback. I have passed this on to our development team. The App is still in its early stages so any suggestions are appreciated. Many thanks The Radio Times Team

No listings!

For over 100 years, Radio Times has provided listings. But there are no listings on this Radio Times app.

I've read the developers' response but it doesn't make sense. It's like Hovis not doing bread or Kellogg's not doing cornflakes.

Doesn’t save to watchlist.

Great looking app, unfortunately can’t save anything to my watchlist, have uninstalled it and installed again but no joy.

Missing TV Listings

Since downloading, I have read the developer reply to reviews that this app is to accompany the Radio Times print edition, but, I’m sure like others, I downloaded this hoping to see UK TV listings at a glance - like on the Radio Times website. I’ve uninstalled and will visit the website instead. If this feature is added at some point, I’ll re-download!

Michael Wincott, thank you for your feedback. As stated previously the App is purely intended as a companion app for the magazine, giving insights into a variety of programs and allowing you to create your watchlists. At present there is no plan to include TV Listings. The Radio Times Team

What’s the point?

Loads of content, but little information!

Where is the TV listing? Wouldn’t that be a useful aid to people on the go?

What is the distinction between the Watchlist and Collections? Moreover, what do either do? Will either generate a reminder of when, say, a new series of Watchlist programmes is available or about to begin?

Currently, the Watchlist appears to do little, other than describe the programme. I suggest, if it is on one’s Watchlist one already knows what it is about.

Genuinely interested to know what the purpose of this app is or what functionality is delivered by saving things to either the Watchlist or Collections.

It feels to be a valueless app, ill conceived without identifying what users might want and delivering solutions.

Very disappointing from a trusted brand.

Only lists their expert’s recommendations

Doesn’t list the tv programmes, so don’t delete the old app. Just a selection of their “experts” reviews and recommendations.

Stupid App

On my pc I can save and see the channels I have access to. I downloaded this app and logged in and NO ACCESS to a TV guide - Absolutely ridiculous!

Not TV listings

I was expecting / wanted a schedule of what was on TV / Radio and when for when I don’t have the print edition on hand. No such luck.

Hi Jill, at present there are no plans to include the TV Listings. The app was designed purely as a companion to the print magazine, allowing you to create a personal watchlist based on expert editorial guidance. The Radio Time steam
