Fun game, hate timer
Response from developer
Thank you for your feedback and apologies for not conveying more clearly how the stars are awarded (I will try to address it on a future update). Basically, the way you lose stars goes as follows: - Misses (destroying a cube that is part of the solution). - Playing the puzzle without a timer. - Completing the puzzle with less than 5 minutes of remaining time (only applicable when playing with the timer). Therefore, it is not possible to get 3 stars while playing with no timer.
Great take on a familiar puzzle game
Only changes would be removal of timer as an option as not everyone solves puzzles at the same pace. But alas, the gamification of all things is a cruel mistress.
I’m also not wild about hearts in puzzle games, as it shows me when I messed up, but in a 3d nonogram where you chip away at the puzzle, I’m struggling to think of a way to avoid it as a solution to misplay. A bit easier on a 2d scape where you can go back and change things whenever you wish. Great game though. Good monetization.

Thank you so much for playing PiKuBo and for the kind words. If you prefer, you can disable the timer on the Settings configuration of the main menu. That way you can play the puzzles at your own pace! :)

A few suggestions:
- I wish only the high lighted blocks can be marked or deleted because sometimes, I accidentally touch the grey blocks.
- Addition of undo button.
- More difficult puzzles. I already have the packs 6 and 8 but please make all puzzles at least at 45-minute levels.
- Bigger puzzles for iPads.
Interesting twist on classical nonograms
For anyone starting out, there are additional settings on the settings page that you need to scroll to find (not immediately obvious). These improve gameplay significantly.
Currently, it’s only possible to use the slider to remove cross sections from two of the three axes (it isn’t possible to rotate the shape such that the slider affects the third axis). Lifting this restriction would improve gameplay. Possibly adding a three-state switch so we could choose which axis the slider affected would help.
Active deception
The page does not even say “in-app purchases”
It is a fun game but to not download unless you’re prepared to pay up
Response from developer
Thank you for playing PiKuBo. The store description has been updated to reflect the fact that currently only 31 puzzles are provided for free and that the rest are available through in-app purchases to avoid any confusion. The game does not have any ads so providing extra puzzles through in-app purchases is the only way to support development of the game. Having said that, the free puzzles should tide you over for a couple of hours and provide a good idea of what the game is about.
Fun game!
Excellent new twist!!!
Fun
Great game!
The first pack or two is sort of easy, but the later ones get pretty complex and take 15-25 minutes for me and I played picross 3D on DS and have about 8 years of consistently playing nonograms till now. They’re quite well made and I love how large the later packs’ levels are.
