Modern phone side ok, but still a lot of work to do and iPad side disappointing.
After being unable to use the initial version due to an inability to create a password, this version has resolved that issue.
A few bits of Chinese text need sorting out but my biggest issue is the iPad side. Thanks to Apple’s app policy us older iPad owners have to download an old browser app (Dolphin) which allows a full screen mode.
This disappointingly means that in photo frame mode the time, power and connection status icons are always visible, taking away some of the illusion of the whole concept.
The Kickstarter made it a very cool concept but at the moment the reality is coming up a little short.
