  • Where’s the update?

The Intellivision IP was sold to Atari, and I’d heard there was an update to the controller app removing the word “Intellivision” and the “Running Man” image, but there is no update available and those aspects are still present.

    Is a hack fraud

Stick to video game music buddy
  • Works Great

Stays connected better than the Android phones, and just runs smoother/looks better. Can’t wait for Amico Home on Apple TV.
  • Love it with my Amazon fire tv and 4k stick.

Love it with my Amazon fire tv and 4k stick. All apps working well!
Misses command and shark shark are great. Waiting for more titles to arrive!
  • Amazing

Its wonderful to see a company like intellivision making nonviolent family friendly and cooperative games. Nintendo and others have really lost their way. I welcome this new company and love seeing them dethrone the other consoles.

If your like me and think more games should be family friendly and feature local 2 player then give this app 5 stars and support them by preordering a console at intellivision.com

  • Very sloppy for such a simple app

Bizarrely pixelated and overly compressed UI graphics (not pixelated in the retro sense but in the "we messed up the export options in Illustrator" sense), and the UI animations are 30fps or less. Just a very ugly app all around.
  • Good for what it is

Game controls are inherently difficult on a smartphone just because of the lack of any tactile feel. For what it is it works pretty well. Obviously it’s different for every game. I still prefer a controller with buttons when there’s a lot of button mashing to be done.
  • Shameless junk

The Intellivision Amico was an investment scam that used a retro brand to fleece investors and preorder customers who thought they were getting a video game console. This controller is part of a cynical attempt to pretend the company is still delivering a workable product. The description doesn’t make it clear, but this app is useless unless you download a beta Android app (there’s no iOS version available) which sends your account information to Intellivision. Then, you need to buy one of their $15 games to play on the Android app, using this as a controller. I’m surprised and a little disgusted that this made it into the App Store. I have a feeling Amico Home might not pass approval. Avoid this.
