  • Great Player

Finally found a player with EQ and works with gmaps. Others would pause during directions from g maps. Not this one:)
It also sounds just as good as the stock Apple Music player. Had others that really did not sound the same playing songs. It also worked well importing songs from Apple Music player. Looking forward to future updates.
Would put it over the top if could change the color scheme

  • Best music app hands down

No annoying adds and being able to sync music bro you just made my day especially with only having a $5 lifetime one time purchase versus apples $10 a month and they don’t even have a lifetime subscription like it’s a no brainer apple doesn’t even have a visualizer it’s like being back in the good ole nostalgia days but even better sure there’s a few quirks here and there but still beats Apple Music because this music players level is over 9000! Awesome work man I can’t wait for more future updates to come an awesome idea would be to be able to seamlessly sync music from my PC to my phone like if you guys had an program for windows and Mac that can communicate to the app for even faster music library builds but still thank you thank you thank you I was getting annoyed with Apple so much and almost started to work on my own app until I came across yours keep up the awesome work!!!

Thank you for your kind words. A Mac app is on my medium-term radar for sure. Would love to hear more about the quirks as well. sakunlabs@gmail.com for any and all feedback!
  • Goated software

    It’s just so peak……
  • Great local music player

I really like the interface, it’s fast and lightweight while still being well featured. Support for more audio formats would be great, especially OGG Vorbis and Opus. Can’t wait to see more from the app!
  • Pretty good

Plays music, recognizes artists and albums, has queues and playlists, premium 8 dollars
  • Good start, though room to improve

This is a pretty great start, and has a lot of features that are important to me, starting with the ability to both import music from the stock Music app, while also being able to load music downloaded from e.g. Safari, via the Files app. Editing metadata in-app is great, too.

That said, there’s still some room to improve. For example, the new ability to add album art to albums and/or songs sounds great, but, I can’t actually get it to work. There’s no error message, just, when I click “add”, select “local file”, and then pick a jpeg, it closes the dialog but the art isn’t actually applied. Parts of the UI feel just a bit clunky, as well, though I’m not sure I could articulate why.

Anyway, all of that aside I’m still way happier with Muziqi than with the stock music app, so far. The simple act of being able to just download music and add it without hooking up your device to a workstation is like a breath of fresh air.

Update: Version 1.91 has a fix for the cover art issues. --- Thanks for your patience and kind words. Please send more thoughts to sakunlabs@gmail.com or via the in-app feedback from the settings tab. - The cover editor unfortunately has a bug as you mentioned 🤦🏼. Will be fixed in the next release out soon. - The clunkiness is indeed something I am trying to address by refining the UI over time.
