Gumshoe: True Crime

Gumshoe is a platform that creates one central place for true crime enthusiasts to interact with real cases that interest them, and connect with other community members who have a passion for following true crime stories. CASES - Cases can only be added to the platform by a Community Manager or Staff Member. This is intentional to preserve the integrity and accuracy of what is being discussed. - Case moderation and organization can be given to users as needed. - Each case has its own activity feed, discussion board, and an area to upload documents and photos. - Don't see a case you follow? Easily request our team to add it to the platform. - Filter and browse cases by type, # of members, or how active each case is. COMMUNITY FEED - View and interact with conversations taking place across the community. - Narrow down what is displayed on your feed based on the cases you follow, the members you've connected with, and content you've engaged with. SOCIAL - Only a valid email address is required to register. Other members will only see the nickname you've chosen. - Each member can upload a profile photo, cover banner, and answer specific true crime questions that populate their profile page. - Private message members you've connected with. - Follow other member's activity. - Robust privacy/notification settings. - Member Directory that allows you to easily find other true crime enthusiasts who follow the same cases as you, listen to the same podcasts, etc. SUPPORT - This platform is continuously being improved.
