wonderful app, and i paid for premium, but i can’t figure out how to add the widget to my homescreen. the option isn’t available.
Still needs lots of features and improvements. As a lifetime subscriber, I don’t think it’s still worth the money. But the looks are really great. If more features are added, it’s an amazing app.
It’s really nice having the Patterns widget on your homescreen, as a subtle reminder of the habits you’d like to maintain. And it feels great to interact w the widget once you’ve completed them. It also looks nice, which is a huge plus.

Interactive widget is buggy and inconsistent. I hesitate to write this review because I love the app. But if the interactive widget continues to be… multiple times per day… non-responsive, slow to update, etc… it’s difficult to see myself continuing to use this app.

I'm sorry you faced this widget issue. Please try to re-install the app. This usually helps for most of the users. The data is synced to your iCloud so it'll back right away.
Either way, I'm going to look at the widget to figure out what cause these bugs. Thank you for using the app. I hope it helps you to build some habits.The design and simplicity of this app are fantastic, and I adore the widgets. I'm interested to see the impact this will have; I'm optimistic about the appearance and interactivity of the widgets as constant encouragement.
One issue: I created a Wordle entry and tried to backfill days according to my streak count (274) but I could only go back about 112 days before the calendar started to act strangely and not let me add more days. An edge case, to be sure, but it would be nice if this bug gets fixed. Would be even better if I could type 274 as my current streak and all the days would be backfilled instead of having to tap on each one. 😅 I want my streak count in this app to be accurate.
Oh, and it would be great if the widget had independent dark/light mode options. I want the widget to always be in dark mode to blend in with my wallpaper, but I want the app itself to respect my system setting.

- The 100+ days logging issue appears in the default Apple multi-select calendar component that I'm going either replace with a custom one or find some workarounds. Because it's indeed annoying when you can't log more than 100 days.
- Adding an independent appearance makes sense. I'm adding it to my list.I’ve used several habit trackers over the years, but this may be my favorite. The reason is because the design is simple but also aesthetically pleasing. The widget option is especially nice for being able to see the habits on my Home Screen.
I think the day streaks that were recently added are also a nice touch.
A couple of suggestions to the developer:
1 - don’t try to add too many features, or at least retain the option to opt-out in order to maintain a simple UI.
2 - consider a one time purchase option for features rather than a recurring subscription.
This is so simple and flexible for what I need. Ive been doing habit tracking on a paper calendar for years but its nice to have it on my phone as well. The only drawback is that the widget doesn’t indicate what column represents the current day.
