Excellent App
The Diagnostic tool’s interface is extremely friendly and the support team was able to assist and engaged with me when I ran diagnostic for my vehicle the first time. Overall excellent experience and I’m positive this tool will get better over time.
Packs a punch
As a mechanic I know this is rather tailored to every day drivers, but I was amazed to see it cover codes that even my $5k tools were missing. Simple, yet comprehensive. Happy with their support also.. once I reported a missed DTC they added it to their system in less then 24hours. I demo’d their AI functionality at LA autoshow and I AM SO EXCITED for them to launch it in the next few months.

Game changer!
I have been using it for the past 2 months and it helped me correctly identify issues with my car. I also got early access to the chat AI, and while they are still at the beginning of their road, I am definitely buying into the vision. I am excited to see what they keep building. Go SPARQ!
Questionable
For a startup that boasts about AI powered, it’s iffy. AI option is still in waitlist, not fully out yet. Says it’s “worth $400” selling for $20, for $400 you can get a better scanner with capability of controlling the vehicle. This also does not read airbag lights, which another $400 scanner would, and with more benefits. Just diagnostics as well, cannot clear codes. Iffy at best. But has potential if it is done properly.

I tried using it and would not let me install 100% just reads codes no trouble shooting here. Got it for free at the LA Auto show, the guy said there are a start up company. I would be 100% sure the product is explained right before they have upset customer's. Better off going to the auto parts store and barrow there scanner

One of the best apps on my phone!
Man, I don’t even know where to start. These guys mean business. App is super polished, you can tell they care about the small details. I never really thought I needed an OBD device but now I can’t live without it. It makes driving your car a little more special. My only bad thing to say is I wish some of the features were available NOW. But honestly shoutout to the team who’s behind this, you guys are killing it!

Great app, great product, great vision
I’ve experience a couple of engine check lights on my vw gti. One was a high voltage on one of the sensors in the cooling system. I just did a coolant flush so I was able to pin point the problem and fix it. More recently the P0070 was read by the OBD through the app telling me something was wrong with the ambient temperature sensor. Turns out the bracket broke and the sensor got disconnected and lost on the road. Easy fix. I found it really cool that it was able to identify the code gave me the right interpretation and gave me a timeline to get it fixed before major damage is done.
Great diagnostic tool, premium user interface and customer support! I am excited to see the AI feature and whatever else the app has to offer.

This tool can’t do its job
After testing this OBD2 Tool, it’s not worth trying it out again. This tool doesn’t scan the car correctly because when I used a different tool, codes came up but once I used the sparq. Nothing came up, the sparq device has a blind eye to certain codes and it’s not worth it in the long run because it doesn’t find codes like other obd2 scanners. I’d recommend the foxwell scanners, they’re $100-200 and they will find every code within your car. Save yourself the time and money. Throw this garbage away, the AI might be cool but it still won’t figure out the codes that really matter
