  • Ads, Ads and more Ads

Game isn’t too bad, graphics are ok, nothing like the graphics in the pictures. Game is very repetitive though and takes a while to rank up as there are more Ads in this game if any I’ve played. If you like more Ads than actual game play, this is the game for you.

All you do is walk around and give tickets I wish there would be cop cars that you can drive and high speed chases but no all you do in the game is walk around

  • Great potential, but needs improvement

This is a promising police simulator but it needs a lot of improvement to reach a 5-star review. The game is one of the few games available for mobile to offer a proper procedural police simulation. You are a police officer on foot patrol and you need to issue parking tickets as well as stop pedestrians and check their IDs, levels of intoxication and search them for illegal items. A menu wheel allows you to pick different violations and issue different penalties (mostly warning, fines and arrest). You get XP points for the right penalty and these allow you to progress in your career. You lose point (and potentially be demoted to lower ranks) if you take the wrong action. You can roam freely in a decent-size open world town. More areas unlock as you climb the police ranks. Graphics are quite good - I like the level of variety and detail of the pedestrians. These features set the foundations for what could potentially be an amazing police simulator, but unfortunately they are not yet properly developed. Here are some issues: - Despite this is a police PATROL simulator, there are no callouts from dispatch, nor any crime in progress around town. So all you have to do is walk around and stop citizens or issue parking tickets; - Even those tasks are basically spoon-fed. Suspicious cars and citizens are flagged by a marker with an icon and colour that indicates the violation and its seriousness (green for not serious violations requiring a warning; yellow for more serious breaches requiring a fine; red for serious crimes requiring arrest). The result of this system is that there is no surprise element at all. As you walk around town, the marker will already tell you who you have to stop, why and what sanction to impose on them. There is no skill, nor challenge involved in all this. Once you get the basic mechanics of the game, it’s just grinding to get more points by taking the right action for each violation; - Progressing through the police ranks is way too easy: I played for a few minutes and got to the rank of Inspector with no effort; - Other than XP, each successful action is rewarded with money and each day of patrol is rewarded with some gems. The problem is that, at the moment, there is absolutely no use for gems or money. You just accumulate them. You cannot purchase anything in game, nor unlock anything with them… so it’s unclear why should we even bother to get money or gems; - There is no unexpected events, nor any action at all. Citizens never try to escape, you never have to chase them or tase them. Strangely enough, you can run but running has no use in the game as no suspect runs away. In short, at the moment the game is pure grinding to accumulate money and gems that have no use at all. Once you have unlocked all the areas in town, there is nothing else you can unlock in the game. And even that is not a great deal because it doesn’t add anything to the gameplay (no new challenges, no new violations etc). I hope the developers will keep working on this game and introduce new features to improve it. Some recommendations: 1) Add random callouts/emergencies to which we have to respond. This will require us to go to a specific location, investigate what’s going on and take the appropriate action. Some callouts could include: finding a wanted suspect/enforce an arrest warrant; processing a car accident; performing a welfare check; stop some crime in progress (e.g. pickpocketing, assault, robbery); find a vehicle reported stolen; collect evidence at a crime scene; give road directions to lost citizens/tourists; give information to citizens who want to report a crime; help wounded people and call an ambulance… There is so much that can be done with this! 2) Add more tools/functions: e.g. a taser; a torch; the possibility to tow away illegally parked vehicles; 3) Add the ability to communicate with the police station via radio for instance to report crimes, call a tow truck or an ambulance etc: this can be done simply by adding a special item in the menu wheel; 4) The fines for parking are all upside down: at the moment the highest fines are for the minor violations and viceversa ($200 for an expired ticket is too much, while $80 for parking on fire lane is way too little); 5) Add some action - that doesn’t have to be too complicated, but at least chasing suspects; 6) Add the option for a night shift; 7) Add the possibility to unlock a patrol car to be used instead of just walking around. This should be accompanied by the possibility to stop and check vehicles in the same way we can stop pedestrians. This might be too much, given the structure of the game, but the ability to have a car patrol would be amazing; 8) At the moment a lot of violations by pedestrians concern drinking or drugs… This is ok, but these are offences that are more serious when driving, so it’s strange to have to perform alcohol tests on pedestrians. I would recommend introducing new violations for pedestrians: e.g. open warrant; 9) Give us something to buy with the money and gems: this could be upgrades to the police equipment (e.g. uniform decorations/accessories; tools like baton, taser, guns etc) or new missions/callouts or features to unlock or new abilities; 10) Remove the coloured markers for the violations. Instead let the player be able to detect violations and decide what players to stop. Of course, in order for this to work, NPCs need to show clear signs of suspicious behaviour (e.g. walking erratically for intoxication; carrying prohibited items in their hands; wearing face coverings/masks when they have fake IDs). I could go on forever with suggestions - there is so much that can be added for this game. I would be very happy to buy with real money a more complete version of this game. I hope the devs will implement new aspects.
