Great app
So far it has been a great app and wonderful experience. Very convenient to use. I had a bit issue on first day with payment but customer support is at its best and helped me out through out the process. Now using it for few days and is at its best helping me out with everyday purchases without having to carry out cash/change. A lot of shops will not accept the cash unless you have exact change however, this app has helped out with those payments too making everything digital and easy to access.

Platform security issues - avoid
I thought this looked a great app to use on a work visit, paying with foreign cards can be tricky and cash is impractical in India - paying with UPI is the norm. I verified my ID and visa, added $100 and went out to make a payment. The first payment was rejected twice and then the app blocked me making a third. I was charged for one of the failed payments by Mony, paid the restaurant in cash and submitted tickets with the failed payment receipt’s. Mony refused to refund the payment taken in error and I’m waiting for a refund back to my credit card after closing the account. It feels very poorly put together, like the platform is actually running on another providers system so they don’t have control of their product. I can easily see why some people have commented online this app is a scam.

Awesome app for NRIs
Loved using this on my recent trip to india - gives you so much freedom to pay one and go anywhere without carrying cash or relying on family to pay
Great service with live agent
I haven’t used the app yet, but has questions about the app and the ‘contact us’ link took me to live WhatsApp chat who immediately responded and helped answer all my questions. The online verification is great, as it would help you start using the app from anywhere, rather than having to be in a big city/ airport.

Works as expected 🙂
Had initial problems trying to get the app to work (see below) but after a few calls with support, all challenges were resolved and I managed to carry out a UPI transaction 🎉
This worked as expected but couldn’t use it much as I only had a day left in India.
Hoping the app is much improved by the time I visit India again.

Does not work with iOS. Submitted all documents required weeks ago and the app is just stuck at pending approval / rejection. Don’t waste your precious time trying to send documents and hoping to have UPI access during your visit. When you a submit a help ticket you also automatically get a Sad to see you go email. If they can’t even get the onboarding to work properly, can you imagine the state of the app when making a payment 😂
