Too invasive

Interesting idea but it constantly tries to access your contacts and forces you to add friends if you want to access features.

Okay but confused theme

A location sharing app that’s for friends isn’t a bad idea, but the idea is overshadowed by the disjointed theming and aesthetic. Good animations and little details, but so much and so random it’s overwhelming. In my opinion, the colors and theming is ugly and gives a confused, early internet vibe. Seems to be for young people but the theming is aging it severely. Too many things moving or shaking in an unsettling way. Genuinely can’t tell if the design is meant to be a joke 🤷
(Again, I can tell skilled people made it! It just seems very disjointed and confused with weird colors)

We appreciate you taking the time to share such a detailed review, even if it is negative!

Step backwards

I would have loved this app if it was a patch on what Zenly used to offer. Plus the fact none of my friends will use this. But I love the scratch map, and the interface is well put together. No bloat!

However, considering that a LOT of furries used Zenly… why force the use of a first and last name? Why is there no option to upload a profile picture?

Bugs

Overall it’s a good app, but no matter how many times I update this app when I go off it while travelling it doesn’t mark my travel, would love it if it tracks even as a background app

I love it

I love this app, however whenever the internet goes down or my phone gets warm it doesn’t track my location for the scratch map. It basically goes “that’ll do” and puts “me” somewhere in the vague area of where I’m supposed to be.

Had big potential

This app is very cool connecting with your friends and how much of and area you can unlock but I think if they had if for the whole world where you can unlock percent of the whole world it would be more fun a bigger competition. I hope yall add this to the game pls

Delightful but Invasive

Interactions feel great, design is super fun. But I've never seen an app INSIST it should know your location data at all times even when not having it open. I get this is the premise of the app, but it really should be optional to not have location sharing at all times.

Hi there 👋 Thank you for your kind words on the design 💗 As you noted, the core purpose of the app is to share your location to ensure the best experience for both you and your friends on Bump! If you ever want to take time off the map, you can use the ghost mode feature. While on the map, just tap on the friends that you want to temporarily stop sharing your live location with, and tap the ghost to turn on ghost mode ✨

Location stuck

Overall I like the app on how I can discover, but my location is still stuck in a street going “39” miles an hour, it’s been 2 days and I’ve been home since but my location in app is stuck and well obviously I’m not there..

Please Fix This

I am constantly having the issue of the app saying “we're so sorry something“ during phone number verification If this problem can be fixed please do so (I gave five star's yet I have not used the app yet)

Restarting when I open it

Every time I open the app it restarts my phone not sure how to fix it
