The ad they play and the actual game are totally different,
They are misleading everyone in the attempt to get more people to download this game. Save your time and do not download. Apple needs to crack down and start booting these games that absolutely mislead people. If I could give it a zero star I would

UI in the way

All the icons and buttons are partially covering the sides of the grid, and getting in the way of gameplay, I waited till update but they didn’t fix it, there is so much space around the edge of the screen that’s unused, if only they move them towards the edge more!

A Disappointment

I expected this game to be like Gold and Goblins, which I’ve been playing for a long time. In many ways it is … BUT ..

Paying for “premium” ($4.99) does NOT remove ads like I expected it to. No, the game doesn’t *force* you to watch ads, and they don’t pop up unexpectedly in the middle of gameplay, but many of the rewards I’m used to getting for free in G&G, such as chests and barrel deliveries, require watching an ad to get the reward. Bummer.

Ad-free requires a subscription at the hefty price of $20 a month, which is ridiculous for a little idle mining game. It’s even more expensive by the week. I don’t like watching ads and I’m not paying $20 a month to get rid of them, so I’ll probably delete it.

Developers, your excessive greed for profit will backfire on you. I think that most players will react similarly to me and simply not play it rather than watch tons of ads or pay an outrageous monthly subscription fee.

That said, the graphics are decent and the mechanics are very much like G&G. Back off on the ads and/or give us a reasonable one-time fee for no ads and you’ll get a lot more players.

It was pretty good then the update killed it…

It was running along nicely. Even purchased the month long bonus plan. (That was all last week) so today I go to start the game….stuck on splash screen. Oh it needs an update. Ok. Downloaded and installed. This should do it. Start it up and still, stuck on splash screen. I feel bad for those who like the game. I feel even worse for those who are paying money and currently are getting nothing…like myself. Let’s see how quick the developers get this back on track. If not, I’m canceling the subscription and insisting Apple refund my money.

Same as Gold and Goblins

I came across this game because it was an advertisement while I was waiting while playing Gold and Goblins. With all the dynamite 🧨,I actually thought it looked like it was a cool game. Once I downloaded it, I wasn’t really shocked at all to find that it wasn’t like the ad at all. Developers fool you again. It’s just like Gold and Golblins but with zombies 🧟. Big woop. Anyway, I deleted it, play if you like but I really don’t like to be fooled like that. I mean it’s fun but I’ll go back to G&B. Not trying to influence anyone. This is my personal review. 👍

Another game that doesn’t play like they advertise

I received the typical pop up advertisement for the game while playing another game.. the advertisement was fun but once I downloaded the actual game it was nothing like they advertised. I understand that this seems to be common strategy now but it’s really frustrating.

Need to upgrade to automate each lvl

When you upgrade a card to 3 or 5 you can then automate it to harvest for you. But the next lvl when that same mine shows up you need to upgrade it more to automate again. You end up wasting all your upgrade materials on stuff you don’t really want. It feels like you are going backwards. Was fun for a smidge of time. No strategy, skill, or much else. It’s like watching a fish tank.

Latest version may be broken

The game needs an internet to play. iPad is connected to the internet but the game won't load because internet is required. Force close the app. Game won't load because internet is required. Turn off the on wifi. Game won't load because internet is required. Restart ipad. Game won't load because internet is required. All other games and apps find the internet and the ipad shows me logged into game center when I try to load the game. It's only the app that has issues.

The beginning

Starting the game is way to boring because they try to teach you all about the game in what feels to be an eternity when I’ve already beat 2 mines which is inconvenient when trying to play a mobile game and especially when there are already a couple games like it meaning I don’t need to a step by step tutorial to play the game please make it an option to skip the tutorial for players because it’s frustrating and quiet boring
