The fall season is here, and with over 60 shows to look forward to, Jiiiii-chan gets a new look to match the season! What's New: • Added new fall-themed icon and membership screens. • Added a leave a review link to settings. Queue Management: • Fixed an issue where delayed episodes would stick around in the queue. Timeline: • Updated release processing in attempt to fix timeline flashing when the app was open for a long period of time. Fixes: • Improved contact and follow options in settings. • Fixed a crash that could occur 10 minutes after creating an account. • Fixed an issue where terms and privacy sheets were wider than the screen, and would appear cut off.

• Fixed an issue where queue thumbnails would not update if the app was running while episodes were updated. • Fixed an issue where changing between Just Released and Queue would apply to all open windows. • Fixed an issue where screens would sometimes show up in the wrong tab. • Added support for dark and tinted homescreen icons. • Improved compatibility across all platforms.

With sharing and universal link support, Jiiiii makes it easier than ever to share your favorite episodes and series with friends or on social media! What's New: • Share buttons and context menu items make it easy to share or copy links to entire anime, or individual episodes and releases. • Universal links now open directly in the app, so you can start watching that new underrated isekai as soon as a friend shares a link to it. Loading and Performance: • Added proper error states to series, episode, and release screens when content can't be loaded. • Updated app to use cache for first load if available. • Updated season decoding to happen on a background thread when possible. • Improved load speeds by using pre-rendered image variants from the server. • Improved timeline performance when hovering or scrubbing on posters. • Improved data updates so they don't impact the UI if nothing changed. • Improved the responsiveness of highlighting timeline posters. • Improved an issue where the timeline would regularly reload and flash the same posters. • Fixed an issue where seasons currently being loaded would instead indicate that they were empty. • Fixed an issue where queue titles would show as loading even when titles were available. • Limited history screen to 160 entries for now so it remains usable. Other Fixes: • Fixed an issue where it wasn't possible to swipe to go back. • Fixed an issue where the wrong episode and cours information could be loaded for a series if the release did not belong to that series. • Fixed an issue where the cours selector could collide with the copyright text. • Fixed an issue where focused timeline posters would show the release time a moment later, causing a jump. • Fixed an issue where timeline hour indicators could crash into each other. • Fixed an issue where some history and search episode thumbnails were squished. • Fixed a regression where the just released and queue thumbnails sometimes didn't show the episode-specific thumbnail. • Fixed a typo for seasons with no shows yet. • Updated the schedule icon.

It's time for the summer season, and Jiiiii-chan is sporting some new colors to celebrate! Other Fixes: • Removed some unnecessary resources. • Added a secret way change the app icon by tapping it in the settings tab. • Improved app icon interpolation quality in settings. • Added upcoming support for special seasons dedicated to announcements that aren't tied to a quarter yet for Jiiiiiiiiii-sama supporters. • Fixed an issue where cours groups would not show season ranges on series detail screens. • Fixed an issue where cours groups were missing backgrounds. • Updated series screen to auto-select a cours when none is suggested from context. • Added support for a custom jiiiii:// URL scheme to open the app. • Fixed an issue where watching an episode would not display the next one in the queue. • Fixed an issue where unavailable episodes could be visible in the queue.

Timeline Improvements: • You can now scrub to preview posters on the timeline. • Added date indicators to timeline when a separate day has started. • Added alternating day visuals to timeline to make it clearer when a day starts and ends. • Updated timeline posters to always be visible even when times overlap. • Improved the alignment of hour indicators on the timeline. Schedule Screen Improvements: • Added release importance badges on schedule and release screens. • Updated the schedule screen's "Just Released" and "Queue" buttons to always display the series name. • Fixed an issue where anamorphic widescreen thumbnails would not be shown in queue or just released. • Fixed an issue where the schedule screen title would clip on narrow screens. New General Settings: • Added settings for how many hours to show in the just released section. • Added settings for changing the order and filtering the just released section. • Added settings for controlling how timelines display. Other Fixes: • Fixed an issue where localization flags were too close together. • Fixed an issue where checking alternate name localizations would dismiss the current screen on wide screens.

• Improved image loading logic to properly wait for other in flight requests. • Improved image loading to automatically retry in the case of an unknown error. • Updated initial load to prioritize season data over sync data. • Worked around an issue where system privacy policy and terms of service screens would not display. • Fixed an issue where signing in would not sync transactions. • Fixed an issue where queue list, queue buttons, search, and notification settings would prompt for a membership even if you had one, but didn't have an account. • Improved name entry on tvOS a tiny bit.
