A game has to be essentially perfect in order to get a 5/5 ⭐️s. While technically flawed, the “Extraordinary:” series has come pretty close.
These games are fun. They can take the better part of a day to complete, with an average of five levels or locations to explore. The puzzles provide a decent challenge. The premise is a bit convoluted; unnecessarily complex as it’s never fully developed or supported. But at least an attempt is made to HAVE an engaging storyline!
Unfortunately .. The graphics aren’t super clear: it can be easy to overlook clickable locales or potential inventory items. Likewise, not all puzzle solutions are readily discerned. [For example, in “:Monster” there is a mathematical sequence question. Player is to provide the fifth element (🤭) in the sequence. I am quite good with math, but could not uncover a pattern to save my life! So i plugged the problem into a sequencing program (i cheated lol); the calculator informed me that this particular problem HAD no common sequence!] In such cases, there IS a hint button. The game, however, will provide your hint based on progress- u may not necessarily receive the answer (or an explanation) that u want!
Overall i certainly recommend the games by this dev. While not perfection, there is a lot of enjoyment to be had 👍
