Great idea but crashing
Great idea, but the crashing makes the app almost unusable. Won’t subscribe until this is fixed.I love it
Best ways to browse your bloated camera roll. Unearths incredible forgotten photos. Fun to use. Lots of faith in this wonderful project! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Very cool idea but undercooked
I like the app but it has a bunch of issues:
1) despite the “importing” loading screen at the beginning, it constantly fails to load photos and starts to glitch out if you have optimized storage on, even with a fast connection. it will haptic click even though the photo is not changing, and a lot of other buggy behavior. This happens in under 10 photos on my device, I would understand it if it was into the hundreds.
2) crashes a lot when messing with settings especially, but randomly crashes in plenty of other situations
3) the “since” setting where you can change the date range with a list of toggle buttons is extremely laggy even on a 15 Pro
4) subscription for an app that has zero developer costs is a bad choice, but luckily the features of the free version are fine to me. I’d still throw like $5 the developer’s way if it was made one time just on principle, though
unfair nitpick: no iPad app despite the fact it would have a better crop on the 4:3 photos 🙁 I would imagine an iPad version would be non trivial though due to how custom the UI is
It’s sad that it seems like this app will never be “finished” because the idea is super cool. Even if just the crashes and photo loading bugs were finished I’d prob change to 5 stars.Show lessBeautiful idea
Small touches like the grain really sell it. (The app did crash first time I used it)Great idea but crashing
Great idea, but the crashing makes the app almost unusableSubscription for an offline photo viewer is insane
What is the ongoing cost? It’s a local app that runs offline from your photo gallery. Make it a one time cost.Needs work but great idea
sharing doesn’t work? needs more settings in general.. duration etc.Performance issues
Great idea but I had performance issues with a larger library of pictures (20k+). It also doesn’t remember preferences (time period, picture type).Great app, but keeps crashing
I love this app. It’s an amazing way to look back on the past and it even created a vintage effect. But every time I use this app, after a minute or so it will crash.Cool app! Unreasonable subscription.
I love nifty little apps like this! But good grief— the subscription model makes absolutely no sense whatsoever for this sort of app.
I’d gladly pay for the app one time and give a tip if there was an option like some apps have.
The icon is gorgeous by the way.
