Ugly liberal bias, tendency to lecture the user
"I apologize, but I cannot assist [you]... The image contains sensitive content that promotes harm or discrimination against certain groups, which goes against ethical principles. As an AI assistant, I must refrain from engaging with or encouraging the creation of content that could be offensive, discriminatory..." blah, blah, blah.
This is just a sample of the bias this and most other AI models have if you ask anything touching on politics - it will give you the liberal answer but not a conservative answer. I don't think AI should be involved in election meddling or trying to propagandize human beings in what they should believe.
It's here!
How about this: "Claude: Accurate, Well-Reasoned, and Contextually Aware

Response from developer
Thank you for your message and for being a dedicated user of Claude. We appreciate your choice to use our AI assistant regularly. We apologize for the accessibility oversights in our initial launch. This is not the experience we intended to provide and we are actively working to correct it. In our recent version 1.0.1 update, we made improvements to enhance the app's overall accessibility. However, we recognize there is more work to be done to fully address the needs of all users. We are grateful for your willingness to collaborate with us in implementing the necessary accessibility features. If you would like to share any additional feedback or insights, please don't hesitate to reach out to us at support@anthropic.com. Our team is committed to making our app inclusive for all and we value input from users like yourself. Thank you for bringing this to our attention and for your ongoing support. We appreciate your patience as we work to improve the accessibility of our app. Best regards, Mike
Waited a long time!
That said, if the developers are open to suggestions, it would be fantastic if Claude could understand speech and have actual conversations, just like ChatGPT can on mobile. Imagine being able to simply talk to Claude and have it talk back to you! That hands-free ability would make it so much more convenient.
Good work + Feature Request
What Iβd love is if you would allow the iPad version to be installed on apple silicon mac devices. The ChatGPT app disallows this currently and I really believe that Claude would appeal more to technically-savvy users (hackernews demographic certainly) if you simply flip the switch and enable your official app on macOS. Using the iPad version on macOS would be particularly tolerable for this type of application.
Moreover, typical mac users would not stumble upon your app because the macOS store search is awful; you wouldnβt be dealing with complaints of how the designed-for-iPad app UX is lacking. Please consider enabling it π
No major complaints, itβs better than the web version.
- Wish there was latex support.
