Borghese gallery - crown screwed up gave warning misdirections
They said we were to be at the gallery entrance. I said that’s not what the paperwork said. I asked if they could give us 5 minutes. We did not make in time. My kids almost threw up so hot. We had literally walked half mile out of our way!!!
They went without us. Talked to crown operators. In purple at gallery!!
The one lady guide agreed with me that there is a name on the signs by entrance that is identical to the voucher. Ugh!
She understood the confusion. The male operator said to call crown customer service. No help!
An email was sent hours before the tour that “superseded” the previous instructions!!!!! Not texted!!!!And had the meeting point to get tickets right at gallery!!! We did full circle.!!! Walked back and forth!
Crown regretfully declined to refund any money! 250$ for 3 guided tickets!!!! Totally no empathy, no sympathy, canned email on their website with no refund!! Totally unprofessional! Zero customer service!!
We went into the gallery and walked through so we got to see amazing artwork!
But do NOT pay crown. Do not use this firm. Get tickets for 30$ each online. Cheap!
Honestly though, Crown is a total total rip off ! And the best is they were given the voucher that shows they miscommunicated making us late. But admitted zero blame!!!
Reaching out to Viator as well and our tour guide to not push this Borghese Crown tour !
Total waste of money!!!
