Still needs to be fine tuned

I love the look and feel of this game. The story is great, artwork is awesome and there’s seems to be a lot of potential.

Unfortunately the aiming system on the iPad seems to be off - you can’t aim an attack in the direction you are facing most of the time. It just attacks in the one direction and you end up swinging uselessly at the air and not hitting the mobs.

Please fix this Devs, and I’ll have another crack at it when it is more playable.

Hi ! The right attack button is a joystick. You don't have to tap it to attack enemies, but move your finger in the direction you want to attack. Please note that with some character, you can't move and attack at the same time. Please don’t hesitate to reach out through the in-game support if that doesn't fix the issue!

Good game, but crashing problems

I am enjoying this game very much and you can tell it was well thought out. I see a bunch of complaints about the attack control. I think it adds a certain difficulty that I do enjoy, but maybe make it more responsive to directional shifts.

I am having issues with the game crashing at Anai-Dya’s Dominion, mostly in the second cave section. The game just closes down and looses all progress of the current run, please fix this as it makes me not want to play the game. Upon fixing this issue I would give this game 5 stars as it has a enjoyable story and plays well. Thanks

Touch controls feel bad

Great game so far. All the reviews you see is pretty accurate. Combat feels like a chore because the poor joy stick attack feels like it doesn’t respond as it should. Feels like range attacks is manageable but melee is scuffed, you will swing in a unwanted direction when you have mobs biting at your ankles. I’m playing on a IPad Pro 12’ so maybe attack joystick has to travel further before it responds.

Great game, bad controls

Like other reviews have said, the game is super fun. It’s just the controls are bad. Mainly it is the attack joystick. I can drag it down, but my first attack goes up and not at the monster. Super buggy.

Please fix the attack feature and get rid of the joystick. It may work for controllers, but not the touch screen.

Bad Controls

Controls are pretty bad, the sword aiming buttons always seems to hit upward on first hit.

Very good ol skool twin stick rpg!

Story driven, atmospheric & good controls in a retro styled rpg that uses twin stick controls. Highly recommend ^^

Backbone controller issue + chapter select issue

I want to enjoy this game. Unfortunately the backbone controller doesn’t work and I am unable to continue the game because there is no where to tap.

I will be refunding the game :(

Hi ! The “information” button is a know issue, we apologize for this and our team is working on a fix. We recommend to close the game and open it again without using the controller, only the touch for now.

disappointed

the game is a masterpiece, unfortunately though the ios versions are so buggy and controller doesn’t work, there are buttons you can’t push, you can’t map, because of that you can’t continue the game sometimes and even after the tutorial, the same button is requested to view the messages at the house screen, but guess what, you can’t because there’s no such button on the controller that corresponds to the one the game requests lol so you can forget to use a controller

Hello! The Skill tree is now accessible with the controller, feel free to play with a controller again! Please don’t hesitate to reach out through the in-game support if that doesn't fix the issue!

Controls need work

The artwork and style of gameplay is really enjoyable.

The only concerns I have are: the controls are a bit too precise. I think the attack control is designed to keep your thumb on it but it’s so inaccurate that way that I find tapping easier but then it’s so easy to miss the attack because you have to tap on the edge of the attack button. Think this needs to be looked at.
Additionally, I’m not a fan of the double tap dash on the movement stick. It would be nice if there was an option to turn it off. I’m constantly dashing when I don’t want to.

No play testing

Trying to play with a controller, did this with a Xbox and backbone. Game will get stuck when asking to press the select button to go into the skill tree for the first time . Well no button on either controller.

Even is you use the dpad to get into the skill tree game still wants you to hit the select button. Literally no way around this and it’s sklkkko early in the game
