Price History of Divinus

Description of Divinus

This application is a digital companion for the Divinus board game. Divinus is a competitive, legacy, digital hybrid board game for 2-4 players that features both a campaign and an infinitely replayable game mode. You need the Divinus board game to use this app. Launch the app and start a new campaign to take the roles of demigods competing for favor of both the Greek and Nordic pantheons. Explore the lands, permanently change the world, and complete quests to gain artifacts and titles to claim your own seat among the gods. In each scenario of the campaign, the prophet Pythia will present the plot, goals and unique set of quests. The narrative reacts to the previous decisions of the players, who may unlock special rewards and unique storylines. The legacy nature of the game is reflected in the app, as it follows your actions and remembers which player built or destroyed a location, altering the narrative accordingly. Divinus features unique scannable stickers. During play, players will apply location stickers to map tiles, permanently changing them. The app supports image recognition, which allows you to scan the stickers and visit different locations on your map. No QR codes ruining the aesthetics! Each scenario should last 45 to 60 minutes. The players will be able to play a campaign of linked scenarios or the infinitely replayable Eternal Mode. Once the app and a scenario are downloaded, the app doesn't require any internet connection during gameplay. The language can be selected within the app. The app saves your progress so you may resume the campaign later on.

Reviews of Divinus

Leave a Review Divinus
  • Extremely unprofessional.

The devs don’t know how the Apple ecosystem works, or that iPads exist.

You can’t stream the audio to Apple TV.

    There is no landscape mode.

    Buttons have unskippable interaction delays.

As per usual, board game companion apps continue to be bargain basement bar-lowering cross-platform slop.
