Reviews of Brushes & Tools for Procreate

  • Crashes, bloatware?

I was able to download ONE set of brushes before this app started crashing and then another set before I could no longer use the app at all due to it crashing continuously upon attempting to download, and then just open opening the app- not even deleting and reinstalling helped. It shows this app under “used apps” just fine, when checking my battery usage and time spent using this app, but mysteriously the app does NOT show up in my iPad storage anywhere, which would show the name of the app, the amount of storage it is actually using, and when it was last used. That leads me to believe it is crapware and is not an actual art brush app. I would not download this if I were you.
  • 100% free, works great, but small selection (32 sets, 906 brushes/ stamps)

Perfect for beginner to procreate / brush sets since it doesn’t cost a thing (no ads, either) and there are a good variety of free brushes that aren’t the typical standard brush packs. I don’t know why another reviewer said it doesn’t work and won’t import to Procreate because it definitely does. You can save to your files and then import them from your files or from the app itself. It really does work (I’ve used the brushes in Procreate).

Some cons—not a lot of variety but it’s all free! Some are just sample/freebie sets for trying out a brush, which is fine, but I wish there was a link to wherever the entire pack can be purchased. Secondly, the app gets updates, but no new brush sets have been added in a long time (at least 3 months, maybe longer?). There are TONS of free brushes and stamps out there, so there are plenty of sets that could be added, but this app has no ads and is truly 100% free so… bit hard to complain about a lack of brush updates, you know? The app is stable, doesn’t crash, doesn’t lag, has no issues (I use iPad Pro 4th gen 11 inch, which was new in 2018).

Number of sets: 32; number of brushes/stamps: 906.
Notable brushes / stamps that normally aren’t freebies:
Hairbrushes for every hairstyle (24 brushes)
Face emotion stamp set (10 sketchy style stamps, best for learning and study)
All in Pixel (38 brushes; full pack on Gumroad has 179 and is worth the cost if you love pixel art and I do!)
    Vintage Pointilism (18 brushes)
Shoe Stamp (10 sketchy style stamps; full pack has 70 but not sure where it’s available. Also, I HATE drawing shoes!)

If you’re new to procreate and brush sets, give this a try! You won’t be forced to look at irrelevant ads, you won’t be subjected to constant bombardment of ‘upgrade to premium’ ads, and at worst, you waste five minutes browsing an app. :) Thank you for reading.
  • Brush’s don’t import

Download down but don’t import to procreate . Even don’t save to download files and page closed .
