Thank you very much for updating your review. Let us know if anything changes. Also, be sure to update the app to the latest version (2.0. 4) for even more improvements to the overall user experience.
  • Largely useless

This "update" seems to have broken everything good about hubitat, push notifications have disappeared... Dashboards have become slow and cumbersome. Although I was/am a big fan of hubitat at this point if your new to the platform hold off on buying into hubitat. I hope these are growing pains and not long lasting changes but this may just be the decline of a great project.

  • Buggy compared to old app

Honestly don’t understand this new app change. Most of all the ‘+’ button on the top right of the devices page bugs in and out and you can’t even add anything. There are a lot of other issues but this one being core!
  • Pretty crappy

Old one was really only good for admin stuff in lieu of the web interface. This one is even worse at that. Can’t imagine anyone actually using either for actually controlling anything in daily use with this. Hubitat is really only useful as a platform serving some other user interface like HomeKit etc.

  • Still crashes on app startup

Haven't been able to get any version of the new app to open and connect to my hub without crashing. Each new version says it is fixing app crashes on startup (2.0.3 so far). Maybe I'll get lucky one of these releases and it will fix the crash I'm getting.
  • A shining example of cart before the horse

This is a refresh of the original app. It’s absolutely garbage. Hard to navigate. 3/4 of my devices come up as “unsupported.” Just an all around disaster. I’m new to the Hubitat scene and I think I’ll be headed back to SmartThings if they can’t get this figured out. Just a really poor effort by the dev-team.

  • Long time user finds this app almost useless

I’m a developer as well as as a user. Whoever wrote this new Hubitat elevation app for the iPad needs to learn how to write applications. While the old was a bit clumsy, it was all there. This new app is a consumer app with no flexibility for working on your network. I could not even find the applications area where I could make adjustments. Developers, please, please do not remove the old app. Like I said before, it’s a bit clumsy, but it does work.

  • Snazzy New App

    Theres a learning curve.
Things are different in the new app. But Ive grown to like it. I love my Hubitat!!
  • Prelude to going out of business

When a company wants to close and they have many customers still using the hardware they sold, they need to make those customers give up on the product. Hubitat is doing that by taking away the app’s functionality.
  • Needs Work

For a refresh of the old app, this is quite disappointing. In some ways worse. For example the old app allowed for full screen dashboards, this app now takes up too much space with its own ui (top and bottom!)
The Home tab is quite useless.
Other basic things like using the full real estate of the iPhone screen or customizing bottom tabs are missing.
    Notifications tab errors out.
