Amazing! So happy!

So happy they came out with this app. The coaching is so helpful and makes it a much more elevated experience than the gym strength section in the regular app. Started with Rebecca’s program and I am not disappointed. I hope they keep adding programs! I would love to see some that are specifically targeting cyclists with intentionally supportive strength to keep riders safe and injury free!

Amazing but could use some improvements

I don’t have anything negative to say for this app I just have a few quality of life issues I would like to bring up. I feel like a personalization feature is needed. Every time I say I want to do an upper body workout doesn’t mean that all I want to do is 2-3 back workouts and then 1-2 workouts for my arms and chest. Also it would help if I didn’t have to choose what weight I’m using for every single workout but instead get a recommendation for my body weight and for what I want out of a workout and then could change that weight depending on how easy or hard it is for me to lift it. Overall great app and I will continue to use it.

Love it already

I especially love the flexibility of the generator feature. I love that I can quickly customize circuits based on the equipment available. I’ve seen some reviewers complaining that you can’t create circuits, which is not true. You can! Just tap the options (3 dots) and tap circuit with above. Voila! My only complaint is that you can’t change the number of sets in a circuit yet. Overall, great MVP app. Excited about what’s to come!

Big fan of this expansion with a few suggestions

I have really been enjoying this as a supplement to the peloton workouts I have already been doing. I think this app is super useful especially if you’re on vacation or with time constraints to get an organized workout in. Sometimes I like to workout while listening to music or podcasts instead of taking instructor led classes. Plus it allows you to use a lot more gym equipment vs the dumbbells only that the regular peloton classes have.

My suggestions are to make it more intuitive to be able to see your saved workouts. It was a little difficult for me to find at first. Also, for the workout demonstrations I think it would be more helpful to have written instructions in addition to the demo videos.

But overall I really like this app and will be incorporating it into my fitness routine!

It’s… ok

TBH there are other apps out there that do the auto-generated workout thing better. I like that it comes with my peloton membership, but it’s buggy and I find myself wanting it to do things differently: better voiceover audio, let me add exercises during the workout, sometimes the timers don’t start automatically, if you have poor WiFi or service the videos don’t download and it makes the experience buggy. There’s work to do.

Has big potential

I was excited to try this app as I was between strength training plans at the moment.

I like that it has the ability to create workouts based on the equipment I have and the time and body distribution I want to target. The videos of each workout are helpful and high quality.

I don’t like that I can’t edit the block to be a circuit. Right now, it has me do the exercise and then rest and then do the same exercise until I finish all sets. I’m used to doing all the lifts in a block and then resting. I don’t have the time to go as slow as the app is trying to make me. As such I feel like the timing of the generated workouts is inaccurate. I finished a 30 minute full body in 18. I also wish it would prompt me to switch sides on the single sided exercises.

I haven’t tried any of the coached programs yet, and it seems like those don’t have all the same issues as the Generator workouts. However, the options for those is limited at this time, and I was mostly looking forward to trying generated workouts to add some variety to my time in the gym.

I’m excited to see where this goes. I think it has the potential to be my go-to strength training app with improvements down the line should they make them.

An improvement in every way

I’ve been a long time user of Peleton’s other application, and I loved my time with it. But this application is better in every way. No overly verbose instructors, can choose my own music and I feel like I can REALLY push myself with this format. Whoever designed and deved, KUDOS!

A great gym app and an even better price

I’ve always wanted a simple gym tracking and routine app but other apps are too expensive and come with stuff I don’t need, while the cheaper ones just aren’t very good. This app does everything I need it to at the gym and at a much better price than the others. It’s super customizable and easy to use, I highly recommend giving it a try

Good start, needs work

Pros: somewhat customizable, uses the equipment I have in my gym, love the interface during the workout

Cons: the submit feedback button doesn’t work, no way to customize number of reps or sets from the generator tab (and too general from the filters setting), no way to build a program yourself and schedule to specific days, no integration with guide

I’m a peloton fan girl and have the tread, bike and guide but this app needs work

Great program, some app support needed

Really love this new app. The main strength classes were getting boring, too much chatter, didn’t always like the playlists. This is exactly what I need to keep me on track and accountable for my workout. My only complaint is there are still some kinks with allowing your own music to play. Some of the reps transition fine with your music on, others kick off your music app and you’ll need to go back into your app to turn it back on. Overall very happy Peloton released this Stength app!
