Pencil compatibility

I have only played the first level but wish it had Apple Pencil compatibility! I can tap the pause but not the elevator. Maybe it’s operator error but that would perfect this game for me

Response from developer

Hi, glad you're enjoying the game! Can I check, when you say you can tap pause but not the elevator, do you mean with the Apple Pencil, or with your finger, or both? Either way, you are right to say that I have not added pencil compatibility, but I will look into it! Appreciate the feedback.

I(almost) really like it, but

The janitors are a big source of friction that feels really at odds with the rest of the gameplay. For the rest of the passengers, you’re working out an efficient flow and helping them navigate the tower, but when the janitors appear you’re playing a meta game where you’re trying to hold them off long enough to earn more points without letting them penalize you.

Sometimes he shows so quickly you can barely get two stars before you start losing points. Then the run feels less like something you could have improved, and more like “oh, I guess the game just wanted to stop”

*That said* the premise and the rest of the game is groovy! I love managing the (non-janitor) characters and trying to balance lift car locations to move people as fast as possible.

If we can find a way to re-balance the janitors, or maybe have different game modes with other challenges, this game could truly be one of my favorites

Thanks for playing! I've done a bit of balancing to make the janitor more predictable. I did design the janitor to ensure each run does not stretch on indefinitely, but I understand the feeling that sometimes his spawning is too quick and unpredictable. I will continue to think about how to provide a better playing experience. Love your suggestion of different game modes, I will certainly consider it. Thank you again for playing and taking the time to comment about my game.

Beautiful hidden gem of a game

So glad I stumbled across this somehow relaxing-yet-hectic game! The graphics are atmospheric and beautiful yet restrained - you can just see how much care has gone into all aspects of the game. Certainly worth a couple of bucks. The games are short but I find myself playing over and over to improve my score (I haven’t quite got all the stars yet). I’ve definitely learnt some strategies (dealing with tourists, the janitor) but there are some high scores on the global leaderboard that are just incomprehensible to me… perhaps I’m missing something!

i want to rate it 2/3

i want to give it a lower rating but don’t want to damage the score because the game is pretty fun and super cute but i’m stuck on the arcadia level for like threeeee days and even when i get double points on mostly everyone and the tourists too it took me a while to figure out they have to go with the people with the flags, i still can’t get the 40 points because the 3rd janitor comes way too soon sometimes when i only have 20 points. :/ maybe there’s a glitch or error in the code for this level

Response from developer

Thanks for the feedback! I've taken in feedback and have made Arcadia easier, and overall made the janitor's behaviour more predictable. Really appreciate the time you took to comment and, I hope you are able to reach 40 points and complete the game.

Engaging!

What a fun game to play! Not too complicated, but a level of complexity that continues to build as you go from one level to the next. I enjoy the graphics and all the characters. Well done!
