Really good game

Game is fun, but kind of boring and could expand a bit more. I would love to see a tycoon type train building game where you can build tracks, manage different types of trains (like freight or passenger) and earn money for doing its job.

Response from developer

Thank you for the 5-star review and for sharing your thoughts! We're glad you're enjoying the game and appreciate your suggestions. A tycoon-style train-building game with track management and different train types sounds like an exciting idea! We'll keep this in mind as we continue to improve and expand. Your feedback means a lot to us! 🚂😊

Unable to play

When opening the game a purchase screen pops up and has no way of exiting out of it. Extremely frustrating because the game is great & I really want to play it

Response from developer

Thank you for bringing this to our attention! This was an oversight in setting up our screens, and we’re truly sorry for the frustration it caused. The issue has been resolved in the latest update, so you should now be able to play without any problems. We appreciate your patience and hope you enjoy the game! 😊

Was amazing

I loved this game when it first came out. Loved the levels and the upgrades with new versions, really enjoyed the community levels and had completed something like 1800 of them, as well as having competed pretty much all of the game levels and had purchased the whole game. And then 2 weeks ago I opened the app and ALL of my progress had disappeared, and the game keeps prompting me to buy the full game again. It knows I’ve been there because in the community levels it knows which levels I’ve given a thumbs up or down to, but my 1800 competed levels have all reset. SO disappointing and I’m almost not even bothered to play any more I’m case the same thing happens again and I have to start over.

attic is too dark

This is a very fun challenging game. It’s basically Trainyard (one of the best Ipad games ever) reimagined. However the enchanted attic section is way too dark. I can barely see the various components in it, let alone decide where to put the tracks. Please brighten this chapter up. Thanks!

Response from developer

Thank you for your feedback, and we’re glad to hear you’re enjoying the game! We’ve addressed the issue with the dark attic section in a recent patch, so it should be much brighter now. We appreciate you letting us know, and we hope the update improves your experience. If you have any other suggestions, feel free to share!

Fun game but colorblind options are limiting

I really enjoy this game, however, I have reached a roadblock as I am unable to tell train colors apart. I have tried all three colorblind options and unfortunately all blur the colors a bit too much to my eyes. Would greatly appreciate an option to customize the colors ourselves, or even have shapes (red = square, yellow = circle, and so on).

Of the levels I CAN play, they are great fun. A perfect blend of relaxing and challenging. Would love to give a five star and purchase the “full game” + DLC, hopefully one day!

Response from developer

Thank you for your thoughtful feedback, Jake! We’re really glad to hear you’re enjoying the game and that you find the levels fun and challenging. We completely understand the importance of accessibility, and we’ll try to find time in future patches to improve the colorblind options and make them more accessible. Customizable colors and shapes are great suggestions, and we’ll definitely consider them moving forward. We appreciate your support and hope to continue improving the game for all players!

A fun game

See lots of people complaining about the draw mode: just use the place mode, it’s easier & plenty smooth.

This is a nice way to introduce logistical problem solving to young people.

If I had one suggestion: more than one piece of background music so it doesn’t get too monotonous. If you need something, hit me up :-)

Response from developer

Thank you for your patience, Jim! We appreciate you flagging the issue. We’re glad to hear you think it’s a great game so far. As we mentioned on Twitter, there is a back button that seems to be hidden behind the game centre UI. We’ll be implementing a hotfix for this shortly. In the meantime, if you force close the app and reopen it, that should help you get around the issue. We apologize for the inconvenience and hope you continue to enjoy the game! If you have any other concerns, please let us know.

Great game

Loads of fun and no annoying ads

Response from developer

Not impressed

I think we all asking the same question..why can’t be placement and drawing switch on main screen..there are better games than this with same puzzles

Response from developer

We’re sorry to hear that the game wasn't for you. We did trial your suggestion during the early release, but it resulted in a crowded UI on mobile. However, we haven't ruled out revisiting this in the future. Thank you for your input, and we appreciate you giving the game a try!

Awesome Puzzle App!!

I have been playing this app for a month and have not run out of levels yet. There are a total 245 unique levels, and they can range from 30 seconds to an hour or two depending on how difficult the level is and how sharp you are at the moment. There are 7 chapters with different puzzle elements, and each chapter has 5 mastery levels, which can be considerably more difficult than the standard levels.

I'm currently in the middle of chapter 6, but I've only solved the mastery levels for chapter 1 thus far. I've played 6.5 hours this week, and I've had the app for a month already; if your puzzle solving skills aren't crazy, it may take you a good amount of time.

There's also a good amount of achievements, a few of which are related to mini games discovered while playing through the chapters. I plan to play the app until I've completed all levels and earned every achievement, and I imagine it may take at least another month.

Definitely worth purchasing the full game, but the game lets you play through chapter 3 (I think) before you have to pay. I appreciated that, because I got the chance to realize how enjoyable the game was before having to pay for it. There are also no ads, and I haven't noticed it draining my battery at a higher rate as mentioned by other reviewers.

There's also the cute feature of being able to accumulate different types of trains and choose which one you'd like to play with. The music and art also seem too good for such a simple game. I think at some point you can also design your own levels, and there's a Discord server too if you become a super-fan or want to discuss with others who use the app. I'm very pleased with the game and would download it again in a heartbeat!
