With intuitive tools and personalised tracking options, you can effortlessly create new habits and stay on course with your goals. From setting up custom habits to receiving timely reminders and tracking your progress, this feature is your go-to companion for cultivating positive behaviours and achieving lasting results. Tools Tap and hold the main "Add" button to open the Tools menu, where you can find Habits, Pomodoro, and the Eisenhower Matrix. My day You can now customise the timing for each segment of your day - Morning, Day, Evening, and Night. Available under Settings - Date and Time - My day. Fine-tuned calendar navigation Previously, to navigate to the next or previous day, you had to swipe only at the bottom of the Calendar screen, which often caused conflicts with iOS's default app-switching gestures. To improve this, we've now enabled swiping anywhere below the week row of the calendar to change the day, and we've moved the Flag and Delete task actions into the general task menu, which you can access with a long tap on the task. Enhanced custom recurrence Next custom recurrence feature already offers great flexibility to fit your unique schedule. Now, we are taking this flexibility to the next level by adding the ability to set tasks to recur at hourly intervals. This feature can be particularly useful in a variety of scenarios, such as: - Medication reminders: Ensure you take your medicine every 4 hours - Hydration alerts: Get reminders to drink water every 2 hours - Study breaks: Schedule regular breaks during study sessions or work periods These enhancements provide the precision you need to maintain your routines effortlessly. Stay on top of your daily goals with the improved custom recurrence feature. Other changes - Moved default due date settings to global settings screen - Fixed a bug causing the app to crash when creating a list from a template - Added 'Set a due date' menu item directly into Task menu - Added 'Encode' function to transform any text into a QR or Bar codes - General usability and performance improvements

More ways to navigate your schedule Swipe left or right across the Calendar toolbar at the bottom to navigate to the next or previous day. Swipe across the row displaying the weekdays to move forward or backward by a week. Eisenhower matrix Dwight D. Eisenhower continuously faced tough decisions about which of the many tasks he should focus on each day. He used to say, 'I have two kinds of problems: the urgent and the important. The urgent are not important, and the important are never urgent.' This eventually led him to invent the Eisenhower principle, which is now reborn in Next in the form of Eisenhower matrix, available under 'All open tasks' screen. Duplication check Now, when you record a new task, Next intelligently cross-references your input with existing tasks. Any potential matches are displayed right above your input, allowing you to check and decide whether you truly need to create a new task and avoid duplication. Other changes - Fixed bug causing incorrect frequency for custom recurrence - General usability and performance improvements

Description of Next

Welcome to Next Next is a universal planner and organiser that helps you define your goals, break them down into small tasks, focus on completing selected tasks, monitor progress, get reminders throughout whole journey of ideation, planning, execution and completion. It is really up to you what you make out of Next, it can be used for maintaining a simple To Do list, Groceries lis, or a complex project. Here are quick 3 steps to achieving your goals Step 1 - Define your goal Albert Einstein said: "If I had an hour to solve a problem, I'd spend 55 minutes defining the problem, and 5 minutes thinking about solution." So make sure you are crystal clear on what you want to achieve. Step 2 - Break it down into small specific actions (tasks) Once you are clear what you want to accomplish, it is very important to break down that idea into very small and very specific tasks with a target due date. If necessary, tasks can be broken down even further, into subtasks. Step 3 - Concentrate on a task Once you have a list of tasks, next important step is to start working on a specific single task. The key phrase here is start working. Even if you are not sure that you have the full list, or not very clear how to solve it, start doing something. The very fact of work, will lead to ideas and solutions. We hope that Next will help you achieving your goals, let us know how you get on.
