Great for College Students!
DineLocal is a great app for college students or generally anyone that loves to find the best deals around. From showcasing happy hour times, incorporating a “membership” option to favorite your top places, and to a calendar tab, this app has all you need to find the best bang for your buck.
The app is pretty simple so it makes it easy to navigate, however, it would be nice if there was a profile option so we could leave comments on restaurants for other users to see and share their own experiences. DineLocal: the startup with loads of potential 🚀
I am an avid foodie myself with a track record of searching high and low for the best spots with the best deals in town. What sets DineLocal apart from all other food apps is the simple user-interface experience-a straightforward and seriously helpful platform.
I recently graduated college and came face to face with the reality that I am getting a bit older. Which means, its time to start my new chapter… looking for happy hour deals!!! A few months ago I thought to myself, there should be an app that lets you know where all the happy hour spots and deals are at cause I’ll want (maybe need) them after a long day at work. Low and behold, it already exists. I was stoked to see that my favorite spot for drinks, Bodega Wine Bar (try it out if you’re in the LA area), is already on the map with info about their happy hour times/deals.
I would say there are currently a limited number of restaurants and bars on the map as of now. I think it would be a great idea down the line to partner with an app like Yelp or OpenTable and include authentic reviews so DineLocal can become the new one stop app for all things food and drink.

Must need app for foodies wanting to dine local!!
I love how easy it is to use DineLocal! The app lets you choose your location, and then shows you a map of all the restaurants/events within your selected location that are participating with DineLocal. The app then lets you become a member of your favorite locations and keeps you updated on their ongoing lunch specials and events. It also has a calendar feature that lets you see all the events you saved to go to! This is a must to never miss out on specials and events going on within your area!! Functional Design with usability focused interface.
The map interface on the homescreen is clear and responsive. The restaurants have easy-to-spot markers and the zooming and panning functionality is smooth. Adding filters based on cuisine type or price can be good.
The color scheme is consistent across all tabs and the navigation between tabs is intuitive. The transitions are pretty smooth however accessibility features such as text scaling and high contrast mode can be beneficial.

Amazing Deals!!
DineLocal is such an easy app to use and it truly changed the way I find affordable places to eat! The app is super user-friendly and I was able to find amazing happy hour deals that were amazing! I’ve found so many hidden gems that I wouldn’t have ever found without this app and it really helped me discover some really good restaurants! Perfect App for Foodies!
I have been loving the DineLocal app! It’s been my go to for finding restaurant specials and events. The app is super user friendly and not complicated to use at all which is so convenient! As a huge foodie, the inclusion of slowing the Happy Hours is perfect for spontaneous meet ups with friends. Really good app
I really like the app and I think this is an necessary app for everyone who is finding fun at night at ur locations. DineLocal have a variety of different activities from the local restaurants posted on their app and with their design is very intuitive to navigate inside the app. It also helps me to keep tracks of time because they have a feature that help adding the event into a calendar and send u notifications!!! They also have a lot of happy hour posted that I didn’t know! Extremely User Friendly
I’ve been using DineLocal for a few days now and I have a few comments. More than anything, this app is user friendly. It’s very easy to find events, specials, etc. on this app because of the tabs below the search bar. I also love how it shows the distance to how far each location is.
All of the events/specials are accurate and I haven’t had any issues with a event/special not being at the location.
