so grateful
I've submitted ~230 scholarship applications, and while I've only won one, I know I'm competing with a TON of people, so I understand! The debit card was super easy to set up--I'm happy to earn points as I make my purchases, haha! Hopefully the app will let me apply to scholarships on it soon instead of having to use the site, but in the meantime, it's been great to keep track of my points and spending. When I've spent enough to earn some cash back, I can instantly get it. Also, dark mode would be cool.

The most helpful app
I downloaded the bold.org app to have a better sense of control over my finances. I hope to continue saving money as a student and using my cash back options to help me pay towards my student loans. I like that I am notified when I receive bold points it’s very exciting as well as the early pay/direct deposit. Transfers are probably one of my cons. It does take one to three business days to transfer from Bold.org to an external bank account. From a safety standpoint I’m also glad that I’m able to lock/unlock my card if necessary. No further suggestions at the moment!

Amazing
Great opportunity for students to get and win scholarships manage finances etc this is a good app and great thing for college students
A couple things to say
I’ve used this via computer for over 8 months now and I’ve haven’t gotten any scholarships, though the applications I’ve done are over 40 at least. This platform is seriously debatable in terms of giving aid. I can’t confidently say 80% of users win a scholarship, it’s very mixed. I received an email last month about two I applied announcing who won. Problem being the email never read along the lines of “Congrats you won” just “ 2 scholarships are announced” so it just teases you. The points system is kind of sad considering 3,000 is roughly close to 50 USD. This is advertised as to used as cash back or for loans but this realistically isn’t significantly helpful for loans. Having seen these two reviews deeply worsens my view in getting aid while dealing with the idea of college tuition.

Bold card is a scam
They sent this card and there is no way to redeem points. Have reached out with customer services three times and still haven’t gotten a response and I included several screen shots. So I’m supposed to have 3700 points with 400 cash back points. This site is just as legit as Fastweb
?
Thought this was an app for scholarships, but it’s just an ad for their debit card.
