Love the initiative but some bugs in app

Was not able to place order from app as it kept processing after adding address. Eventually went to the website and placed order. Definitely cheaper than ordering from doordash

Can’t check out on the app.

The user interface is quite nice but the app suffers from a fatal flaw — you can add items to the cart but cannot check out!

So even though I have the latest version of the app installed, I have to use the website. Hope the devs can fix this problem soon.

Needs heavy testing and lots of bug fixes

First time, unable to sign up, mobile verification codes not sent. 2 weeks later, managed to get past that, unable to checkout after selecting items. I’m frustrated because I’m unable to get my food and the restaurant should be frustrated for picking bites as the primary way to order because they are loosing my business!! (P.s. I said lots of bugs, because the app freezes a lot, and login was a pain and kept failing repeatedly and I had to force close the app a couple of times as well)

Update: figured out that the app does not allow for pickup and is expects you to enter the delivery address to move past that screen.

Also realized that the promo code fails to get applied multiple times after this. So I had to go back and start the process again.

Looks like lots of validation / state screw ups in the apps logic.

Reg OTP - We have had some carrier mark the 877- number we send the OTP as spam and hence you didn’t get the code on time to login. This is fixed now 2. Promo code - Which promo code did you use on the delivery? Did you try apply the promo on Pickup? 3. Pickup vs Delivery - We wanted to promo delivery at lower cost and hence the Full screen promotion was designed. You should be able to decline the offer and continue with Pickup if need be. Needless to say we appreciate your feedback and are working to have the platform and the app better one day at a time! If you think we deserve another shot, please try placing your next order on Bites or on Idly Express links. Also we confirmed that the Promo code was applied and hence you were charged 20.03 instead of 25.03 as shown in the receipt (https://withbites.com/receipt/666f5d9c-eb7c-4a68-92ac-4314833be9af) We will fix the receipt immediately.

Money saver !!!

If you want to save money on food order deliveries, this is an excellent app. Savings compared to other food delivery services are evident and it racks up quickly !!!

Much needed for local community!

Clearly the local restaurants need such a platform to reach their customers. All delivery apps while convenient marks up the prices and add lots of hidden fees. Bites provide good selection while saving my wallet and is very clear that I am paying the same price as the in store menu.

Savings!

We order from delivery providers for dinner often and end up paying exorbitant fees. Bites offers the lowest price on all food products and let’s you save with rewards! Delivery finally makes sense and it’s on time!
