It’s okay, one issue
I love playlisty, I downloaded this app after getting the Playlisty for Apple Music App. I like it and they are fundamentally the same thing. Just confused why it’s two apps? Every other competitor goes both ways. You can transfer your spotify to apple and your apple to spotify. Yet with this app you can only do Spotify to Apple? And with the other app only Apple to Spotify? Id be fine with it if my Pro Subscription transferred between apps. I love that it’s only 3$ forever which encourages me to use the other app! And I appreciate that since every other app uses monthly subscriptions. But as someone who uses both apple and spotify and want all my playlists on BOTH websites, it just honestly irks me they couldn’t merge both features into one app. It seems kinda pointless and not only is it annoying for people who have both to swap between two apps but it’s annoying to have 2 purchases. Id rather pay a one time fee that was slightly higher (like a dollar or 2) and have it in one app, rather than in two separate apps. Id give the creators benefit of maybe technology can’t do it, but seeing as every other service does this I can’t imagine why it warrants two separate apps. Other than that the apps work great and no large issues.Developer Response
Thanks for your thoughtful feedback. To give you some background, the way Playlisty allows you to seamlessly browse sources or recently played artists, find a playlist and simply hit "play" was designed-in from the start. It's only possible because we already know you're a Spotify user so there's no need to keep prompting you for a "destination" platform, and that simplicity suits the great majority of our users who only use a single platform. We appreciate that a minority of users want to sync across multiple platforms and we try to keep our prices low so that you can still use Playlisty for this (who else offers a lifetime of 2-way transfers for such a low cost?). However ease of use and simplicity for the majority of our users will always be our focus for Playlisty.
