I downloaded this because I have sensory processing disorder and wanted to see if it would be helpful. Sadly, it really doesn’t do what’s needed and has some very annoying features - like the sound effects on every change to the blobs.
If you are marketing this for people with autism, you need to allow for neutral colours - not primary and secondary colours - such as pale gold to rich gold, and colours in the neutral and calming range. You also need to make the changes smooth, not sudden. Ideally the magma would be played with using fingers on the screen, so perhaps it would follow the touch input or you’d be able to nudge it and change the shape of the blob. Haptic feedback would be a lovely addition here, too. The thing that clinched it for me was the sound effects, though. They are painful to listen to and there doesn’t seem to be any way to change the settings or turn them off.
I would pay for an app like this if it did what it said on the tin. You need to do more research on what is actually calming for people with autism.
