  • Dont use trainees to make bank apps

    Please hire a good IT team.. i cant withdraw my FD using this app. Also tried with google chrome and wishwa site is too slow even in 5g connection. This is the worst bank app in srilanka 🤮🤮

  • Good, not excellent

    I like the new up. It’s bit complicated but fine. I like the face recognition feature. I can’t pay my water bill through the appa or web. I hope this error will be fixed i. The next update.

  • Only a few payees shown

    The new ravamped version of the website does not allow me to do any transaction at all as it prompts an error when I click that option. When I tried to do that on the app, it doesn’t have the saved payees and the other credit card details. It’s not the fancy UI that would retain your customers it’s the credibility. Wonder this website and the app was tested at all before releasing to production.

    I dont know whether someone reads this
    New version of web is really useless
    Only 6 of saved payees are while others records are deleted, so whoever did this transition has failed big time

    The search option for payees should be fixed please. Have to go through some irrelevant names before finding the payee, and sometimes all the payees do not appear when searching. Also as someone who likes to take screenshots of the payment confirmation page, the animated green tick is a little annoying as I can never capture the full tick.

  • Incomplete app

    App hasn’t fully integrated with the web. Only up to 7 random payees available, if your payee not there you wouldn’t able to do transaction. transaction history shows only transactions made through app, history doesn’t pop up with details just transaction number and amount. A major bank in Sri Lanka living in 2024 still struggling to come up with a complete mobile banking app.

    Can login via web, cannot login via the app using the same credentials

  • Great banking app that does all

    This has become a great banking app that does all banking needs. Better arrangement of banking functions and very intuitive interface. Great performance when compared to its predecessors. Good job team Sampath Bank.

  • Looks over functionality

    Horrible update. It doesn’t let me choose the rest of my saved payees. Only the 1st five. The search doesn’t work for saved payees. I understand the need of UI improvement but if the UX is this bad, it is going to be a huge trouble for the end users.
    At least you could have released this as a beta while the older app is functional. Highly disappointed.
