Discover Fibster, the most advanced lie detector test app ever created. A leap beyond other lie detector test apps, utilizing the participant's real physiological (heart rate) data. As questions are asked and answered, Fibster analyzes real-time reactions, subtle changes in the intervals between heartbeats, to determine test results. Ideal for lively game nights or a playful peek into what a polygraph test feels like.
Based on scientific principles used in professional polygraph practice, Fibster simplifies complex lie detection into an engaging user experience. With just four questions—two baseline, two relevant—dive into a quick, 80-second truth-seeking adventure. The app guides you on creating effective questions in the FAQs, enhancing your Fibster experience. FAQs are accessed by tapping the icon (?) on the top right of the Home Screen.
How it works:
Fibster uses technology that turns your camera/flash into a photoplethysmogram (PPG), which is what many wearable devices use to measure pulse. This app goes further than simply measuring pulse, beats per minute (BPM); it analyzes the micro time intervals between heartbeats, which is a key indicator for stress. Then by comparing the changes in stress levels between irrelevant and relevant questions, using our scoring algorithm, it determines test results.
The following is a guide to using the app:
- Enable iCloud Authentication.
- Tap the logo (button) to begin.
- Agree to the acknowledgement.
- Create two relevant questions, tap next.
- Create two irrelevant questions, tap save.
- Instructions on question creation are in the FAQs (“?”) section of the app, icon on the top right of the Home Screen.
- Review questions, tap start test.
- Calibrating message pops up on screen; participant places finger over camera/flash to begin acquiring heart rate data.
- Go through all eight test questions. Each question is designed to be at least 10 seconds in order to analyze the required information.
- After all questions are completed, the result screen displays the outcome of the test.
