Reviews of A Slight Chance of Sawblades+

  • Pretty good

It’s hooking me for sure. I’m feeling just a bit of friction with the controls and feel of the game, it just feels a bit floaty and I’m wishing there was just like hair more complexity to the mobility mechanics. There’s nothing really wrong about them, but for a game this simple and focused on this exact element it needs to be absolutely perfect for the game to really shine. That being said, I’m having fun with it.

Every game with the “left/right + button” control scheme should have a toggle to just duplicate the exact layout of Downwell, because it’s the only one to ever get it perfect.

    Developer Response

Thank you for the feedback! It is very much appreciated! :D
  • Great game

It’s a great and addictive game, I’m constantly sitting around at my job and this is a great way to spend time. My only complaint is that the water bottle doesn’t land so I can’t do trick shots, it only falls on its side and it makes me very sad, other then that great game

    Developer Response

Haha! I apologise about the water bottle XD. Thank you for your kind words :)
  • All around great game

This game is absolutely infuriating and I’ve rage quit at least three times. I love it. The music is great, the animation is simple and smooth, buying new cosmetics is just expensive enough that you have to work hard to get enough tickets but not so expensive that it’s frustrating. it’s similar to Downwell (another game on Apple Arcade) but it’s definitely its own unique game. I highly recommend as a good leisure game as well as a fun one to grind when you’re bored.

    Developer Response

Thank you so, so much!! :)
