Iโm not a happy bunny and No Longer Recommend this as an ai art generator app!
My previous 5 star review: This app doesnโt yet have the same range of functionality as the online version, but itโs rendering is faster and there are more size and render format options, PLUS, it doesnโt make your device processors get hot ( a BIG plus). Bear in mind itโs still under development and the possibilities are great so itโs worth while trying it out. My current 1 star review: The main fun from using the app, limited though it was when compared to the online version, was being able to start from scratch when making images from prompts. However, the latest update is actually a backwards step, making the app no better than a non-ai design app where you are forced to change/adapt their templates. Making your own images with your own prompts is no longer an option. PLUS, all my previous renders have completely disappeared and my new renders do not show up on the online community board.

New Update
They took away everything that made this app so great. Unsubscribing and finding a new generator to pay for. You are now limited to the new templates and generating your own ideas has become increasingly difficult. The previous version was far better.
Recent Update Disappointing
I recently discovered Playground AIโs app on August 21 and was thrilled to use it, especially since it included notifications and seemed like a great extension of the desktop experience. For one day, I found the app easy to use and enjoyed generating and finding my images.
However, my excitement quickly faded after the new update that rolled out the next day. The update introduced a requirement to choose a design template for image generation, which I find restrictive. I prefer the flexibility of generating images in my own style, particularly with celebrities, which the previous version allowed.
The new update has made the app less functional for my needs, so I will be returning to the desktop version until this issue is addressed. I hope the developers reconsider this approach and restore the more user-friendly features that made the app enjoyable.

Liked it better before the update
Not a fan of the templates. Preferred being able to write prompts and edit them until I got what I wanted
Update ruined the app
I absolutely loved this app and used it almost daily and paid for the upgrade, but they made an update that took away all creativity and erased all my previous art.
Ruined the app with version 2.0
I thought the Playground app was great until they updated it to version 2.0. Before you could type in exactly what you wanted and it would create an image. Starting with version 2.0 you were just given templates that you could attempt to modify with prompts, but the results were usually not very good. Unfortunately, as a result, they have lost this user.

Some people are using this app for child porn
I found several images that I had to report that were typed in a way that would add suggestive, sexual desires to children. It is not a good filtering so since they are allowing actual Ai child prn to get through. I reported several pictures of children being blindfolded and laid on bed suggestively and the prompts were very inappropriate. The devs need to do more work on blocking certain word sequences and images. This can lead to a whole mess of illegal imagery and caused them to lose more in the future if the authorities decided to find them.
