For any cinephile, the act of ranking and comparing movies is a natural instinct. However, OmList harnesses that instinct and uses it for good! By swiping and curating the films you’ve seen, this brilliant app will then generate a list of everything there still is to watch out there. In a world where we are constantly scrolling through streaming services with no clear direction, this app will help you cut through the noise and discover new favorites. I’ve really enjoyed the Swiping and Battle mechanics too, as it adds a level of gaming that other movie apps such as Letterboxd lack. It’s a great way to remind yourself how much cinema is out there, remember old favorites, and discover your next watch.

The movie recs are next level
Full disclosure: I’m not really a movie person. Mostly because I feel like streaming services are always trying to force feed me franchise films. However, OmList really changed the game for me. As a beta user before it launched, I really enjoyed swiping through the movies I’d seen and found myself wanting to revisit some of my favorites. The nostalgia was real haha :) And then when I finished swiping and got my full ranked movie list it was like the app had read my mind — it was so cool to see all of my favorite movies ranked, and it felt so accurate save one or two movies. But the big draw for this app is definitely getting new recs — I was recommended From Russia with Love which was a Bond movie I hadn’t seen but flew under my radar. I ended up loving it — it’s now one of my favorite bond movies. I don’t know if I would have ever gotten around to seeing it without OmList. Highly recommend downloading and trying out this app!

Great Movie List App!!!
I’m always spend so much time trying to figure out what to watch and this app helps solve that problem! Also very clean and easy to use. 10/10 recommend!!
