  • Funny story

So i had just gotten to the part where you see the confusion ending board, and right afterwards the free trial ended. Which means that it still perfectly aligned with the confusion ending. Because I was unable to progress, and the narrator forgot about the confusion board.
  • Exclusive Ending!

As someone who already owns this game on PC I downloaded this mainly to see how the controls were and how the game would handle you when the demo timer ran out. I'm happy to say there's an exclusive ending to the game only if you don't buy the game first. Give it a try!
  • Not the best but not the worst

The main reason I gave this game a 4 stars is because you have to pay just to get a full version.I don’t want to pay 15 dollars just for a version of a game. Other than that, this game is really good
  • A regrettable decision

I purchased the Stanley parable last year on Nintendo switch only to now realize this year they’ve released the game again on mobile devices and honestly if it weren’t for the fact that this game had a free trial and then you have to pay $15 just to get the full game I would’ve stuck with this instead of getting to switch version. Then again, if people don’t have the money to pay for the full version on iOS or even want to pay for the full version, then you can just get the version on switch for a thrilling alternative that still gives you the full game.. in the end it’s your decision, not mine but for now I got to live with the fact that now I can get the standing parable twice even when I was considering getting it again for Playstation

Note: you can also play a version of the Stanley parable off of rec room. Be advised it is a cheap copy and does not have any ultra deluxe content.

  • Not Recommended

Honestly, I could not be bothered to play this game to full completion. The narrator is obnoxious and unfunny, with his humor and dialog proving to be more irritating than entertaining. The individual paths themselves are also not very fun, not offering much to do throughout each path, and requiring some rather tedious nonsense to get certain endings. I cannot reccomend this game to anyone, even as a "so bad it's good" game, as you'll more than likely wind up bored by your third or fourth play through.

From the ashes of depravity rises the phoenix of quality. How else to describe The Stanley Parable: Ultra Deluxe? Such a revolutionary step forward in the lineage of one of the most beloved video game properties of all time! The additions and changes made to this expansion will surely resonate in the annals of the history of all media ever made.

It is perhaps true to say that no mistakes are forever etched in stone, for the stone into which The Stanley Parable was carved has itself been transmuted, offering a message of hope to those who have ever erred in their judgement. You are not beyond redemption. You may change, and you may become more, so much more than you were before.

If there is any message to be taken from The Stanley Parable: Ultra Deluxe, it is this... What a fortune, a privilege, a joy it is to have had such an experience. It leaves me hopeful that as a community - as a world - there is time for us to become our greatest selves, as great as we ever could dream of in our wildest, most ambitious visions for a brighter future. (thx for the new free content gang)

  • The end is never the end is never the end is never the end is never the end is never

Great game saw my favorite YouTubers play it and laughed at how funny interactions between the narrator,Stanley, and you (yes you are a character in the game) highly recommend I just wish that the paywall would go away it is free to try but eventually it will force you to pay 15 dollars is you are going to buy this game just get it on Xbox or PlayStation if you have a game pass like subscription you can most likely get it for a bit cheaper

I would also recommend the Stanley parable 2 as The bucket doubles the amount of endings you can get

Hey developers could you please add this gem of a game to Apple Arcade

  • The stanley

The Stanley Parable is an amazing game. Full of all your decisions and what happens next. Especially when the narrator talks to you! An amazing game from a while ago, and i’m glad they brought it to mobile. Huge Stanley fan!!!
  • No sound

The game is the same as normal, but it didn’t have sound! No music, no voice, nothing. I tried deleting the game and redownloading it, but the problem still stays. All the sound settings are turned up to 100 and this is still an issue. I’m wondering if it’s because I haven’t paid for UD, but that sounds silly and likely isn’t the case. Is there any way to fix this?

    Developer Response

Hey, thanks for the review. Make sure your phone isn't accidentally in silent mode.
  • i love free content

i absolutely love the physical manifestation of a ‘paywall’. fantastic new ‘ending’.

loved the 2013 version, loved ultra deluxe on steam. unfortunately, i’m too poor of a boy living in the orphanage to buy the game for a third time, especially on mobile. cool port, though!

if you’re a fan of this silly demo, buy the actual game—seriously! it’s good, really good! also, play the original demo on steam if you’re oh so desperate for more free content.
