Scam!! Avoid this app!
It says you don’t have to provide billing info during trial. I had decided during trial I did not want to purchase a subscription. I did not think I would be billed because I never gave a payment type or number.
This is sneaky! It bills through iTunes, which I also don’t use - BUT Itunes bills my phone storage so that is how Pearls found a way to access my bank account.
Tried cancelling through link and it just says it is “not eligible for refund.” I cancelled within an hour or so the pending charge hit my bank.
I guess it doesn’t know California law that gives three days to cancel a contract.
Reported to bank as fraud.Rave! Entertainment

Great app - actually helped me set up a reading routine, so now I definitely read more than before and dig deeper in the topics, that I enjoy. It saves a lot of time as well since it gives you the gist of the book and most of the time it’s more than enough to get the idea.Aloxa0001
