RFID (NFC): Reads data from embedded chips in electronic passports (ePassports), electronic identity cards (eIDs), and electronic driving licenses (eDLs). Supports various authentication protocols: Basic Access Control (BAC), Password Authentication with Cryptographic Encapsulation (PACE), Extended Access Control (EAC), and Secure Access Control (SAC). Performs automatic chip authentication (v1 & v2), terminal authentication (v1 & v2), and both active and passive liveness checks. Fully compliant with international standards: ICAO 9303 for ePassports, ISO 18013 for identification cards, and BSI TR-03105 Part 5.1 & 5.2 for eDLs.
