I have been listening to sound apps for many years, and I just hadn’t found the right one until I found DwellSpring! I use it for my baby to put him straight to sleep, I use it to work and also to relax, and I use it to go to sleep myself as a very exhausted mom. Thanks for sharing! 🙏The content and available features are great, but $60/year (double if you pay monthly) is too much considering other, similar content is free. Without the membership the app is worthless because you can only listen 5 mins at a time. If there was a free version where you could listen to just a few recordings without time limits that would be infinitely better (pun intended).

However, developing a mobile app is incredibly expensive and we’re a very small team. The subscription enables us to recoup the large costs of development as well as pay the team who worked hard to build it. Hope to hear from you!Hey Team, was really excited to see 12 hour sound machines release this option for an app. I love all the options and the way things are broken down. I was really considering buying the annual membership, but my first night using the app, I set an alarm.
Unfortunately the alarm never went off. I tried it again just a few moments ago to test it out, and the sound decreased nicely, but there was literally no sound coming out of the phone when the alarm was supposed to go off.
If this gets fixed, I will definitely consider purchasing.

Hi there! So sorry you experienced this. That's incredibly frustrating 😣 especially for a feature like the alarm that you have to trust so completely. We definitely understand your disappointment! Make sure you have your Do Not Disturb off and your phone off of "Silent" or else you will not hear the alarm. This is only temporary, but it's an approval process you have to go through with Apple and until they give us approval we are not able to override those two settings. It's not ideal, but just wanted to communicate the interim solution in the mean-time while we wait to hear back from Apple and solve this the right way. Again we apologize for that issue. We're working hard to get it resolved quickly!I like how intuitive the interface is, whether I want to explore a new sound or make my own. The tools for soundscape creation are next level compared to the other apps I’ve used. And the Creator Exchange looks promising.

There are no ads, it doesn’t automatically charge you after your free trial, and it has TONS of content to choose from.
An issue I’ve run into: sound quality. I’ll go in and mix up a new sleep sound, and it sounds great while I’m mixing! The second it loads up and saves to my library, though, I feel like it’s so much quieter and less crisp. Not a huge deal, as the difference is fairly minor, but it still bugs me whenever I notice.
I’ve also had the app suddenly stop playing in the middle of the night for whatever reason?
But overall, cannot recommend Dwellspring— or its developer’s other content— enough. Good work all around 🫶

I’ve switched fully to the Dwellspring app and love all the ways you can tailor and build a soundscape to fit your personal sleep or concentration needs, or just explore what other people have created and see what works for you. It’s very new so there may be some bugs to deal with right now but their response has been swift with great customer service. I’m very happy with the app in general and love using it every night!

But I found creating your own custom sound blends or nostalgic experiences to be addictive. I couldn’t believe how fun it was and how “personal” my creations were with blends of good memories and some of my favorite sounds. Love it!
