Awful app

Super slow and very poorly designed. Video pop up bombs when searching online ad. One of the worst app designs I’ve ever seen

New app is garbage

So I have had a more reward account for years. The old app keeps prompting me to move over to this. The Coborns shopping app still works fine , just downloaded to try out. The app opens but as soon as I click to log in to my account a blank white loading screen pops up. The loading circle spins for hours. App is useless unless you can be a guest… (I have an account I would like to manage so being a guest means theirs app is useless.

New Coborn’s App Missing features

One of two greatest disappointments with the new app is lack of features for the “Mores” app. The Mores app retained copies of all receipts for groceries and prescriptions. Coborn’s new app either dropped, or is missing, this critical feature.

The other disappointment and frustration was the installation process was awful to the point that I was ready forego the new app altogether. (See other comments on installation.)

I looked forward to giving the new app a 4 or 5 soon very soon.

Rewards balances???

JUST GIVE US ONE BUTTON THATS EASY TO FIND THAT SHOWS REWARDS BALANCES PLEASE!!! It seems like a simple ask that keeps getting ignored. This is why I continue to have to use the old app.

Some pros…some cons

Starting with the cons, 1. Items no longer show price per oz or lb. In this economy I often shopped that way especially since packaging amounts all differ. 2) I feel like I’m bouncing back and forth to see if I got the sale items or got the coupon Clipped. Not intuitive. Wish you could make your lists and add easily to the grocery purchase.
Pros.. easier to search for items. I like that you can add sale items from the ad more easily. The old app was hard to navigate items and search functions didn’t always find an item so you had to try multiple tries. Bring back cost for unit pricing please!

Abhorrent

Every update is buggier than the last.

No thought given to…

User experience whatsoever. Example: a rolling the poorly designed/laid out weekly ad… every few items a video auto plays/launches. If I go to the weekly ad, I’m there to browse the ad, NOT watch a pointless video about asparagus. It’s also incredibly buggy, particularly the coupons area. I’d give this zero stars if I could. Unfortunately this sort of thing is par for the course for what is basically the “only game in town” when it comes to grocery stores in Central MN… no focus on consumers. Just egregiously high prices and an app that gets progressively worse. Please don’t bother responding to this review Coborn’s, Inc. I don’t want to hear your “I’m sorry to hear about your experience with the mobile app” nonsense. Do a little more UAT and QA testing for your app and leverage your regional clout to pass on lower prices to your customers.

Worst shopping app ever

I love Coborns, but this app is the worst ever. Please bring back the old app or else make this one more user friendly. It’s very difficult to make a shopping list, add digital coupons before the store and it’s even worse to use in the store when you add something. Awful.

Stupid app

I can only see the liquor store in Foley!!! I shop in Mora. I can’t see the coupons it only shows the savings but not what the product is. I want the old app back.

New system is a pain

I downloaded the new app in late June, which took some time, & it has been a pain to use coupons ever since. On one occasion the cashier/service counter person took my phone and deleted the app saying I needed to download it again. 😳
In each visit that I virtually clip a coupon on the app, it doesn’t show up at the register. Staff works very hard to be helpful but tell me I need to print a coupon at the kiosk so I do, but where’s the convenience in using the app then?!?
